3.0 out of 5 stars Shampoo... (?!)
I was so excited to have found the Confetti Angel Food Cake Mix here at Amazon as they don't sell it in the stores here --Until I discovered that included in the list of ingredients is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (just like in most shampoo)! I guess it's the 'fluffing agent.' On the plain white Angel Food Cake Mix, they call it 'Sodium Lauryl Flavor.' If you aren't familiar...

I guess it's the 'fluffing agent.' On the plain white Angel Food Cake Mix, they call it 'Sodium Lauryl Flavor.' If you aren't familiar with this additive, you might want to Google 'Sodium Lauryl Sulfate' before deciding if you would really want to eat this or not...

5.0 out of 5 stars Confetti Angel Food Cake Mix, January 10, 2007
This review is from: Betty Crocker Fat Free Angel Food Cake Mix, Confetti, 16.75-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
I have loved these cake mixes all my life. They are great. So much lighter than regular angel food cake. The cake has a wonderful smell and mixes up with one step.

This cake has been a favorite in our family for years. Very easy to make and tastes like you worked hard on it. The only negative is it is not available in the store.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sickeningly sweet, September 6, 2010
This review is from: Betty Crocker Fat Free Angel Food Cake Mix, Confetti, 16.75-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
This Angel Food cake mix is americanized to the extreme, full of chemicals and way too much sugar. Use Duncan Hinze mix if you can find it, it has half the sugar.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, November 23, 2008
This review is from: Betty Crocker Fat Free Angel Food Cake Mix, Confetti, 16.75-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
I am in my 60's and this is something my mother used to make for us as kids and we loved. Thought it was discontinued until I found it on Amazon. Split this with my family and this will bring back great memories of Holidays Past.
Thank you Amazon and keep this on the list of products. Betty Crocker keep making this product. Not sure why you can't find on store shelves anymore but I have been looking for years! Now I found a source.

4.0 out of 5 stars Confetti Angel Food Cake Mix - Hard to Find, August 11, 2008
This review is from: Betty Crocker Fat Free Angel Food Cake Mix, Confetti, 16.75-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
I cannot find this product in any store where I live. When I called Betty Crocker, they did a search, and could not find a store in a 50 mile radius of where I live that sold it. However, Betty Crocker does not list it on it's "Hard to Find" list, so I thought I was out of luck. I've been very excited to find it on Amazon. One thing to note though - I purchased the cake mixes in July, and the expiration date on the cake mixes was August. I wish I would have received a "fresher" batch!

I was disappointed in the packing of this product. The product came in a case of 12. I planned to share them with two other people. Six of the boxes has small tears in the same location and could not be used. I gave the other six to my friends and did not keep any for myself.

We all know the product is good because this cake is a traditional birthday cake for their family. We were so excited to find them on Amazon since they are no longer carried in our local grocery stores.
