This really is quite a nice coffee maker. I had bought a cuisinart, which I did nothing but fight with. Apparently defective. And decided to try this one, for the price. I am pleasantly surprised. It does what you would expect it to do. It makes a decent cup of coffee rather quickly. It is not complicated. I don't like to feel like I need an engineering degree to operate my coffee maker. This one is simple. IT has a clock, can be programmed. OH, MY FAVORITE THING.......IT HAS A CARAFE WITH THAT LIP THAT DOESN'T SPILL ALL OVER THE COUNTER AND THE FLOOR. It has a permanent filter, that doesn't clog every minute, it is easy to keep clean. I do not use a paper filter too, I just dump the grounds into the filter. I would recommend this to people,

This is a wonderful Coffee Maker!!! The price is right, it is easy to use and the coffee tastes better than MR. COFFEE, HAMILTON BEACH and PROCTOR SILEX. It is also extremely easy to set up. I like the idea that it gives you the option to use filters, as it does make it easier to clean up after.

I drink A LOT of coffee, and I'm looking forward to a long and happy relationship with Betty Crocker!

Great coffee pot at a great price. Easy to use and gives you the option of either having the basket or disposable filters. I love this thing and would buy another one over those sniffy cuisinarts any time. Get this one, you won't be sorry.

I have been tired of the coffee makers with pots that spill all over when you try to pour a cup. This carafe is made so that there are no spills when you pour. I love it! Great product. I highly recommend.

This is a great coffee maker. It doesn't have all the bells and whisles but does what I want in a coffee maker"makes coffee". I would recommend this for anyone and would give as a gift. The coffee from my very expensive maker tasted like plastic and the tank leaked. I am very happy in the mornings now.

We have used Mr. Coffee and a "freebie" from Gevalia Coffee Club for years. Our old pot, although cleaned with vinegar and water often, took 30 minutes to brew a biting cup of coffee - and heaven forbid if you paused and poured before it rendered a full pot! Our new coffeemaker arrived quickly, and after the recommended cleaning before brewing we have been totally pleased with our coffee!!! It brews in about 5 minutes for a full pot, and the coffee is perfect in taste and temperature. This coffee maker is one of the lower-priced models, but results have far exceeded the high-priced, fancy ones we have used at other homes. Didn't know Betty Crocker produced coffee makers until I looked at Amazon.com, but am so glad they do! I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

This Coffee Maker is easy to program. It has automatic shut off which is not advertised.
I think you should use paper filters with filter supplied as alot of coffee setiment end up in your cup.

I was tired of spending a lot of money on a coffee maker that only lasts a year. No matter what brand I buy or how much I spend they never last any longer than 12-18 mos.. I decided to try a cheaper one and not expect too much so I tried this one, but I am pleasantly surprised. It really is as most people described: fills easily, cooks fast, and doesn't get super hot. I prefer it not too hot but that might not be to everyone's liking. If you're looking for a nice, inexpensive coffee maker I recommend this one!

Did not know Betty Crocker made coffee pots. Not stainless steel as stated...mostly plastic - facade only SS "like" material. Carafe doesn't drip when pouring. Brews coffee quickly and plate keeps coffee hot. Does still have an odor - like burning plastic smell. Lessening after much use. Easily programmable and does work well!
