I love trying different cookbooks, but usually it's hit and miss-- a couple of good recipes, and the rest are mediocre at best.

This cookbook is full of truly delicious recipes-- some for the crockpot, some for the oven, and some for the bread machine. My favorites are the crockpot recipes which are definitely 10 steps ahead of the typical generic "meat and potatoes" recipes. It has more variety than other crockpot cookbooks (much better than "Fix It and Forget It") with international flavors instead of 30 different versions of pot roast. It doesn't have as many recipes as "Fix It and Forget It" but each one is truly unique.

I use this cookbook on a regular basis to try new and less-hassled meals. It doesn't take away the prep time, but it does allow you to work things at your own pace before the crazy dinner hours.

Betty Crocker's COME HOME TO DINNER is an outstanding collection of recipes for the slow cooker, bread machine, and oven.
Breads are not strong part of our meal preparation so I didn't spend much time in this section, but the slow cooker and oven recipes are excellent with many little hints to make meal preparation easier and faster without banishing taste and style.
The book is will illustrated as to finished product and cooking techniques.
This is an excellent gift to include with a slow cooker for a wedding present.

This is the best slowcooker cook book ever.It has everyday dishes which is a real plus.I have bought 2 of them,(I gave 1 to my mom)and I use it all the time.I go through it and try a new recipe once a week or so and they all turn out great.I like that it has the nutritional facts listed(icluding fiber)with each recipe.I do Weight Watchers and this makes it easy to figure out the points for each one and most of them are low in points without changing any ingredients.It's the BEST BEST BEST.

I'm always looking for new ideas & this is a good book for plating family style meals. Since we "eat with our eyes first", it's important and what we usually short-cut thru. This has several quick & easy inexpensive ways to try.

I really like Betty Crocker cookbooks. You have a lot of recipes to choose from and most are simple to make.

I bought this cookbook for my son's girlfriend, who doesn't know how to cook, and she absolutely loves it. She can throw the ingredients in the slow cooker, go to work and come home to a hot supper.

I own this book and it is wonderful. The crock pot recipes are ones that you actually might have the ingredients for. The bread machine recipes are amazing. I just really love this book.
