I have to admit that my crock pot is a lifesaver, when you can start dinner in the morning and have it done with no problem by 6:30 p.m., how can you go wrong? But I had a problem finding new recipies that are family friendly. I have no problem making beef stew, chili, corned beef, you know the usual slow cooker fare. But that gets old.

That is when I picked up Betty Crocker's More Slow Cooker Recipies, and I am very happy I did. Not only do they have new recipies but old recipies with a new spin. And my favorite feature of this book, are all new recipies you can make from the leftovers, you make in your crock pot. It also has all the nutritional info, recommended side dishes, and serving suggestions on each page.

Some of the best recipies in this book include, Smokey Bacon & Gruyere Dip, Fisherman's Warf Seafood Stew, Hunter's Style Pork Roast and many more! If you love to cook with a crock pot and are looking for some great new dishes, give this book a try.

I have used three recipes from the book already. They are simple and there are tips for every recipe so you can make changes if you desire. There are serving suggestions and many colored pictures of the finished product. I will be using this recipe book for many years.

I love the hardcover with the spiral pages.

This book had many of the same recipes as the first Betty Crocker Slow Cooker cookbook--even the same pictures! The recipes are OK, but many are dull and made with prepackaged items. I'd rather know what's in my food, thank you. Not impressed. The new Southern Living Slow Cooker cookbook was a million times better.

Ordered 2 for Christmas gifts. Nice spiral notebook type books, but would have liked tabs like the older Betty Crocker cookbooks. Good books.

Easy and fast recipes for any working Mom or when you want to "set it and forget it" types of meal. The pictures of the dishes throughout the book made it more appealing for me. I found this book much better edition than the first Betty Crocker Slow Cooker book.

This is a great slow cooker cookbook! All the recipes I have tried so far are a big hit. The recipes are not too complicated and don't involve a lot of pre-preparation. When a recipe calls for chopped veges (onion, celery, carrot, etc) I chop the evening before and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. This way, in the morning I just have to toss this into the slow cooker with the other ingredients and can be done in a minute. Potatoes can be done ahead too, just store in water in the refrigerator and drain before using.

I bought this book as a gift, to go with a new crockpot I gave my daughter. I ended up reading the whole book before I wrapped it! Great variety of recipes, new ideas for slow cooking, and excellent pictures make this an appealing cookbook. My daughter loves it, and I've already borrowed a couple of the recipes.

Betty Crocker, More Slow Cooker Recipes (All-New Recipes Easier than Ever) is much, much better than the big book of slow cooker, casseroles & more. This cookbook ALL the recipes are for slow cooker. The ingredients are easy to find, instructions are super easy and the final results are fabulous. I've done Savory Beef Short Rib Dinner, Hamburger Hash, Cheesy Ravioli Casserole, etc. I tweak them to my taste like I season the meat and cook the sauce before putting them in the slow cooker. I highly recommended it.
