I found this book orginally in our public library. I absolutely fell in love with it! Just having me and my boyfriend, many recipes left us with days and days of leftovers :-( This book works really well with all the common things you keep around your house. Easy to make, understand, and quick for most of them too!
I ended up renewing this book a couple of times for myself, but bought a copy for my mom for mother's day - she loves it too! With all of us out of the house, and they are trying to eat a higher fiber diet, this book works perfectly! Each recipe shows calorie info as well as all the other nutritional info. Makes eating healthy very easy.
A definite must for a small household who wants delicious easy recipes :-)

There aren't a whole lot of recipes that I would try out but there is a good small-batch baking section.

I got this cookbook when I moved in with my Fiance. I am still new to cooking, and this was a great resource for me. We have tried several of the recipes and are continuing to explore and try new ones to expand our taste and my cooking skills and recipe base. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a way to eat healthier and in proper proportions. (or even for a single person who likes to bring leftovers for lunch the next day!)

Not only does this make an amazing gift to the "Newly Weds", but also a thoughtful gift to the "Newly Empty Nester". It's hard learning how to cut back after raising a family for so many years. Put the romance back into dining for two - and this cookbook is a great way to start!

This cookbook has many easy and tasty recipies. It's good one when cooking for two and the portions are not skimpy.

I orded this for my mother who did not know how to cook for two. Also we love Betty Crocker cook books well mother loved the cook book and has used it. Great book for retired parents.

We are a retired couple and the recipes are geared proportionate wise and are very flavorful; perfect "for the two of us" I recommend it highly and Amazon was true to its word, in good condition.

This book turned out to be a disappointment to me. I did not find one single recipe in the book I was interested in making because each one either had an ingredient in it I or my husband did not like or it called for a spice I normally don't keep in on hand. I can't see going out and spending money on a spice I may not use again only to use 1/2 teaspoon of it for one recipe. Looking back now I wish I had not been so quick to purchase it.
