A delightful hand in the kitchen,
This review is from: Betty Crocker Recipe Magazine (Magazine)
I have to say that I bought this magazine countless times next to the cash register of my local superstore before I finally decided to take the plunge and subscribe. I'm very happy with my decision. This magazine has new creations in addition to old classics as well as updates on those old classics. The instructions are far above any other magazine's and appropriate for any cook, whether a rookie or a seasoned pro. The recipes are varied, flavorful and they even go ahead and suggest a few variations and substitutions of your own. You'll never stop wanting to try something new and then experiment again on those recipes. As far as quality goes, the paper's smooth and glossy and every recipe has a big, beautiful picture to stimulate your imagination. I really like this magazine and I recommend it to everyone.

Betty Crocker Recipe Magazine,
By A Customer
This review is from: Betty Crocker Recipe Magazine (Magazine)
This magazine is full of easy & different recipes that can be made mostly with items you already have in your kitchen. I am always looking for recipes that include COLOR pictures, and this magazine delivers! I highly recommend this magazine to anyone that is looking for something different & simple. A great value for such a helping hand in the kitchen!

Difficult to read the recipe cards and not like the old magazine,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Betty Crocker Recipe Magazine (Magazine)
I've bought many of these cookbooklets through the years, and decided to purchase the magazine subscription as I could afford it. It's been awhile since I've read these cookbooklets, and I did not realize the new format consisted of recipe cards.Recipe cards are good for people with good eyesight as they can read the smaller print. For older folks like me the recipe cards are hard to read. I will probably not re-subscribe to this magazine for this reason. The old format with a recipe and a accompanying photo is much easier to read and use in the kitchen. I sure wish that was being used as the current magazine format. Recommend with the caveats given.
