I purchased this inexpensive little cook book as ''food for the soul''.....I kept one book for myself and gave the other three away as gifts. One of my sons told me he has already made soup from some of the recipes and has surprised himself because he doesn't cook alot and the soups were really delicious!...AMEN! This little book was a real ''mamacita'' gift.

I purchased the hard cover with spiral bound pages. Easily lays flat when preparing the recipe. Most of the recipes have a corresponding photo which makes selection easier. All recipes made so far have been excellent. The best thing about this recipe book is that it doesn't rely on canned soups as a base.
