This is probably the top end of the brownie mix continuum. While they will never replace homemade, they don't require a stick and a half of butter and a trip to the store to get baker's chocolate either. And they can be improved if you do happen to have nuts, chocolate chips, M&M's, etc. around. I got them with a "dollars off" offer from Amazon.

I always buy Betty Crocker Brownie Mixes, sometimes the Chunky ones and sometimes the Fudge ones. It just depends what mood I am in. I also use the ones with walnuts. What I really like is the size the box makes 13x9.

These are VERY quick and easy to make, they come with a packet of Hershey's syrup that you add to the powder, eggs, water and oil for a chocolatey kick! These satisfy my sweet tooth, but when I can find a sale, my ultimate favorite is Ghirardelli Chocolate Double Chocolate Brownie Mix, 20 oz..

These brownies are delicious taste just like the good old days, the added treat of real chocolate gave it that extra boost definitely a 2 tumbs up.

I must agree that these are the best boxed brownies ever. I also bought the bags of Diamond walnuts. They are great too. They say that walnuts are very good for you. So eating brownies with walnuts should be very healthy. :)
