and could NOT be happier. I got this when I went away to college, and I continue to use the recipes today. My first copy is stapled together in lots of places, and some pages still have traces of flour from where I've used the same recipe time and time again. WONDERFUL choice as a first cookbook, but gourmet enough to impress dinner guests.

I have been using Betty Crocker cookbooks since I was little girl. They have really kept up with the times, and this set is no exception! They use ingredients that most cooks keep on hand in their kitchens - not many ingredients that are unusual or hard to find. They also include the Good n Easy. I find that it's a great way to put a quick and nutritous meal on the table. The books are a great addition to any kitchen!

Im using this book to teach a couple of folks the fine art of feeding their young families, My wife has the predicesor to these books [I purchesed 2 of them] and I have used one of my own for many years. Its just a great old recipes that we all grew up with. Nothing fancy,easy to obtain ingredience at the local groc. store, and above all simple to follow directions. If you like to cook and know how to read, This is the book to use.
