I joined a book club when I was in my early twenties, the old "buy 10 for a penny" deal. I didn't stay in the club, but this book was one of my 10/.01, and it's easily THE best cookie cookbook I've ever used. Even working as a baker, I would use these recipes for the ultimate peanut buttery or chewy chocolate chip cookies.

I've given this book to cookie lovers as a gift only to receive curses (because the cookies are so good, you make them a lot...) and heart felt thank yous! My favorites in this book are the choc. chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, gingerbread, molasses, chocolate crinkles... oh whatever... they are all favorites!

You won't be disappointed.

I bought this book to replace the book I bought when it first came out so many years ago. I know it's in my house somewhere, but for the life of me, it's hiding really well. Our favourites are the Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies! I used to make them for my kids almost weekly when they were small. All of the recipes are easy to follow with ingredients most people already have in their cupboards. The book is filled with pictures of the finished products making it easier to know what you'll be baking, and making your mind up about which cookies you want to try next.
