Very disappointed - have worn sandal perhaps 10 times and the main strap has torn from the sole - until repaired, the sandals are unwearable. These sandals were not worn in rough terrain, they were not buckled too tightly, they were not abused.

I am unlikely to purchase any Betula product again.

The sandal fits great. Order one size smaller. I do wish that the strap that went between the toes was leather (I thought it was):

1)For comfort reasons...leather between the toes is gentler. The rubber strap needs to be broken in. 2) The rubber strap, also, could break if you crouch down and put strain on it. I saw a few reviews complain of the strap breaking...I am just mindful about it so I have had no issues with that.

Aside from my issues about the toe strap...I believe this sandal is a good investment. Break them in and they are sandals that can be worn all day.

The color is really nice. The size was perfect. The sandals are confortable.

I purchased this sandal last year and wore it for less than 4 months. When the strap broke I promptly called Birkenstock to be told that well, this really isn't a Birkenstock it is a licensed manufacturer and you will have to deal with them. When I called their number (the first time the associate gave me the wrong number) (and I had to call 4 times to get someone) I was told that someone would get back to me.....well it has since been 3 months, the sandals sit in the box on the floor by my desk gathering dust and still no call from the representative. I will not EVER, EVER buy anything but the true Birkenstock as they are not guaranteed by Birkenstock and the other company doesn't return calls or make it right. I believe a sandal should last more than 4 months, especially with the cost of them. I have flip flops that have outlasted these Betula's. When they were not broken, they were a great pair of shoes, comfortable and attractive - that is why I gave them a 2, but should something go wrong, they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. I ordered this sandal because I thought I would be getting the Betula Licensed by Birkenstock Thong Sandal. Instead, I received a sandal that states it has the Birkenstock foot bed but I'm not sure it is since the sandal has the brand NEWALK on it. I've never even heard of this brand before. I am not happy with this sandal and I don't think this company should be able to advertise and picture one product but ship something completely different! BUYER BEWARE.

I was so happy with the first pair I bought a second in a diffeerent color. The shipping time was quick and easy and a time saver!

These sandals look a lot like my beloved Gizehs, so I assumed they'd fit like Gizehs. Instead,they were far less flexible, and the thong injured my middle toes so badly I could not wear ANY shoes for several days while waiting to heal. The similarity to Gizehs is misleading.

I bought a pair last year but the strap between the toes broke off. However, these were so comfortable and I wore them almost on a daily basis, from camping to dinner out that I just had to buy a second pair. They were abused and worn so much that I forgive the strap breaking and love my new pair just as much.

I love the rproduct and I recieved it in a quick manner. I was pleased It was alittle too big european sizes through me off a little

I have to say that these are my favorite pair of Birks, ever! I love these love these love these, however the middle strap does have a tendency to shift to one side. But, they are great! Iam on my eighth pair and a bigger fan with each.
