I bought these because they look almost identical to my beloved Gizehs. They turned out to be far less flexible, and the thongs injured my middle toes so badly after very brief and painful wearing that I could not wear any shoes at all for the several days it took my feet to heal. Don't be misled by their visual similarity to Gizehs.

It's comfortable indeed but it's heavy, i wouldn't want to walk around in it for a long time which of course defeats the purpose.

This thong feels great....Make sure you order your correct size...I went one size up...perfect fit

I admittedly bought this one thinking it was an actual Birkenstock, only to realize that it is 'Licenced by Birkenstock'. I must say there is a big difference in the feel and comfort of the 'real thing' to this one. Also I am a US 7.5m and therefore bought the 38 since with Birkenstock you have to go up a size or so to ensure your foot fits properly, however this item was at least an entire size too big and impossible for me to wear. For the price it is a good looking product the straps were very nice and I would have kept the product anyway except for the size. Luckily I found someone to take it off my hands.

If you like the look (which I do) and don't mind that the sole is not as soft and comfortable as a Birkenstock then this is an option for you.

I bought these sandals because I was looking for something reasonably nice-looking, yet comfortable enough to walk long distances. It was a good choice on both counts. They are sturdy and provide a good amount of support. While I would not wear them to a formal event, I believe these sandals do not look shabby in any way. As with all Birkenstock brand sandals, be advised to not wear them for long distances at first. Give them a chance to become broken in by wearing them for short trips, so they can form to your feet without causing blisters.

I seem to have developed fallen arches and these shoes have been extremely helpful in keeping my arches supported and my feet comfortable.

I really like these shoes and how they look. I just wish that they fit my feet a bit more. I order the right size for my feet but the toe separator at the front of the shoe is too far up to really fit my feet well. I find that they are constantly almost coming off making walking in them difficult.

Order from this company only if you have a narrow foot! Great for people with narrow feet and great prices!! I love these shoes. I wear these betulas all the time.

I bought the Betula Thong sandal and I have just loved the fit and the comfort of them. I have bought Birkenstocks before, love their products. These are definately the quality sandal that Birkenstock is know for. I would recommend them to anyone.

bought these several months ago at Ross Dress for Less in Oregon for $19.99 I love them I bought them in a off white since that was the only choice. Love the comfort of them, think the t-strap stays on my foot much better than the older birk style which is too wide & sloppy on my foot & the t-strap is cushioned so it doesn't hurt my wee toes, I wear a size 8-8 1/2 depending on the brand these say 39.5 don't know if that is correct sizing or not, I would highly recommend betula for very comfy quality made casual sandals, perfect for the beach or casual summer wear. I am a self-professed shoe addict & these are great for those days you want only comfort.
