I'm a fan of WWII of history and know almost nothing about the history of India. This is a small bit of insight into India's independence movement against the British empire. I found it absolutely fascinating and highly recommend this documentary.

Fascinating chapter of history I didn't know anything about until seeing this movie. I must for anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of WWII.

I have never seen pictures and videos of Netaji and his struggles/sacrifices. I wish Indian government researches more and brings the truth before Indian people. Who helped Netaji and who opposed and plotted against him. It was shocking to know that his own Indian aid/lieutenant cheated and gave information to British about INA troop movements. I wish India has more patriotic leaders like him.

This is a must for every student of history of Indian independence struggle.

One of the many things you grow up never hearing about. This is the story NOT of Gandhi and Hitler, but about Subhas Chandra Bose, Hitler and Imperial Japan. He was actually THE first major force that eventually led to India's independence. I found the story fascinating, but "dryly" presented, which is the reason for knocking off 1 star.

Casually reading the title, I assumed the film was about communication or a relationship "between Gandhi and Hitler". Wrong. The film looks at the man Bose who stood, ideologically, between the two men in the title. I knew nothing about him and thought the film was a solid introduction to Bose and to Indian independence.

I don't understand why this documentary was entitled, "Between Gandhi and Hitler" since its focus was on the Indian Nationalist leader, Bose. I wanted to learn more about Gandhi's politics and was disappointed that Gandhi is hardly mentioned in a documentary that has his name in the title.

This documentary bares the utterly fabricated and fictitious history taught to us Indians at schools in India. Every proud Indian ought to watch this to understand who were India's real Freedom Fighters.
