Product Description
Between Earth and Sky follows the journey of a team of paragliders on their expedition into the Everest Region of Nepal. The expedition's initial goal is to climb and fly their paragliders from a 6000M peak within sight of Mt. Everest, the world's highest mountain. Along the way, the expedition hopes to share the unique joys of free-flight with the deeply Buddhist Sherpa people who inhabit the region. Through their tandem paragliding adventures with the Sherpas, the team begins to see their expedition in a very different light.
Unexpected encounters and wisdom from the most unlikely sources transforms their journey into an unforgettable lesson in sharing and being in the moment.
Between Earth and Skycombines high-stakes adventure with an exploration of what happens when two very different cultures come into contact under unusual circumstances. The result is a heart-warming and inspiring tale of friendship and connection.
Between Earth and Sky has become an international favorite as an Official Selection in over a dozen film festivals in five countries including the Maui Film Festival and Jackson Hole Film Festival, winning Best Adventure Film at the 2005 Boulder Adventure Film Festival and Best Cultural Documentary at the 2004 St. Hilaire Film Festival in St. Hilaire, France.

5.0 out of 5 stars Between Earth and Sky; Firmly Grounded in Praise, July 7, 2005

(REAL NAME)
Between Earth and Sky is an adventure film with a touching human facet. A well developed story of adventurers achieving more then their intended goals even when they thought their objectives were unatainable. Rattlecan Films proves adventure films don't need to use the word "dude" in every other sentence to be hugely successful.
