Between Light and Dark: A review,
By Sean Cain (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Between Light and Dark: A Journal of Poems, A Book of Stories, Slices of Life. (Paperback)
There is a moment of reflection when someone you know passes away. Immersed in your own private world it's like getting a splash of water on your face and looking up for what seems to be...the first time. You question your existence. Wonder about your immortality. Sometimes even alter your goals. This book of poetry and short stories takes you on a journey into a realm of the twilight. Wrestles with ponderous questions about life and death in a subtle way. Tries to make sense of the suffering we endure. The two authors poetry blends in so well that you can't tell who wrote what. A collection of beautiful pieces that will stay with you for quite some time. I highly recommend this book for all the poetry lovers out there. |
