Great Stuff,
This review is from: Between Now & Then (Dig) (Audio CD)
All the tracks are great being that they are old time clarks favorites, whether you are new to the Clarks scene or a long time fan like myself, you will love this album. The Clarks never cease to amaze me, they just keep on making great music year after year.
There is a couple new ones on here, and they give you the same fun feeling you have always experienced when playing it in your stereo. They don't do to many cover songs, but when they do, it is ALWAYS a great song and they make it as good or better than the original. This one is an old BadFinger tune, "No Matter What" and I will also add, it is better than the Def Lep version, which was also just added to their compilation, strange, two bands cover the same song at the same time. Good pick up.

Catchy rock. It's hard to believe that I am a Pittsburger and I don't own a Clarks CD. I owned their first a long time ago---but, anyway... This has all the classic Clarks songs on one CD. Those who have recently discovered the band should make it a priority to own this one.

The Clarks are fantastic!,
This review is from: Between Now & Then (Dig) (Audio CD)
I saw The Clarks in The Outer Banks and they are wonderful! Quality music. I have seen specials about how the music industry works...paying off radio stations for air play... so I wouldn't take the lack of airplay that The Clarks get as any indication as to whether or not they are good. I was walking into TGI Fridays the other day and a Clarks song was playing on their PA. It is a shame that some big label hasn't put the money into promoting them because they could be HUGE - that is how good they are. There are upbeat tracks like "Butterflies and Airplanes", jammin alternative like "Cigarette", one of my personal favs "On Saturday"...I could go on. This disk is just a starter...they have so many greats on their other disks. Check them out on Napster or buy the CD. You won't be disappointed.

I have always enjoyed the Clarks live shows & this CD has all the hits. For anyone outside of the Pittsburgh area and haven't heard them-give it a try.

The Clarks are terrible and boring. Listen to good music like Herb Alpert, Ill Bill, Merzbow, or Burzum instead.
