Aron teaches and shows us the universal lesson of the will to survive, because if he was able to survive his predicament than anyone can live through their adversity.
My main problem with the book would be that, on occasion, Ralston was a bit too descriptive and flowery in his writing, slowing the story down to a snail's pace.
I never really read Nonfiction but for the first in a long while, I was very pleased.
