4.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Rocking Instrumental..., February 4, 2010

This review is from: In Between The Spaces You Don't Think About (MP3 Download)
This is one of those slow build type 'rawk' instrumentals that would easily fit within one of those indie movie slow motion 'important' montage clips. The song starts slow and spare with one guitar picking out a recurring arpeggio rhythm (I hear a slight hint of the Marilyn Manson 'Sweet Dreams' intro). Then guitar 2 comes in with a little lead line on top. In the middle there's some barely decipherable background talk going on (which sounds somewhat ominous or something) and then the whole thing culminates with a big loud cathartic blast. Pretty damn cool.

Very melodic, very intense with alot of feel. Brings to mind the band 'Explosions in the Sky' who also do the Rock Instrumental slow build and burst type songs, quite amazingly too I must add. I only downloaded this one song so I don't know if the whole album is the same or as good, but if u're wondering about whether to take a shot with this 1 song I'd say definitely go ahead. A worthwhile Amazon freebie download...That's all for now, Later...
