nostalgia - 90s pop music at its best,
By A Customer
This review is from: Beverly Hills 90210: The Soundtrack (Audio CD)
i dont know if its because this album reminds me about a lot of good times but its just an overall great soundtrack. many of the songs hav a great beat and the album itself as a whole is original and colorful. from time to time i listen to the entire cd from paula abdul to the 90210 theme song. i personally think its a model of the early 90s pop music at its best. i will also add that if u were a 90210 fan u will definitely not regret buying the album.

Just wanna be your friend!!,

I think that this CD is pretty good but the best song on here is #5 (I just wanna be your friend). If you like the band THIRD EYE BLIND, then you will like this song because lead singer from 3eb, Stephan Jenkins is the singer on track #5. This was when he had his old band "Puck and Natty".

Buy this for the theme song.,
This review is from: Beverly Hills 90210: The Soundtrack (Audio CD)
I bought this soundtrack and set it as my alarm clock. So every morning when I wake up at 7:15 a.m. I hear " duh nuh nuh nuh, duh nuh nuh nuh!!! CLAP!! CLAP!!" and then I do a ninja flip out of the bed into my slippers and pick up my autographed red and yellow hulk hogan guitar (custom made) and bust into a 3 minute long solo. It's become such a spectacle in my neighborhood that the children at the school bus gather around my front lawn and look into my window to witness such a display musicianship. When I'm done I yell at them to get off my lawn or I'll run them over with my 88 Le Sabre, life is sweet.

Very good album of glossy, slick pop,
By Preston (nc) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beverly Hills 90210: The Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This was a very thought out soundtrack of pop songs with a slickness to them. Standouts were Paula Abdul, Color Me Badd, Jody Watley, Tara Kemp, Shanice's best singing in Saving Forever For You and others. But I liked Jeremy Jordan's The Right Kind of Love and Geoffrey Williams' adventurous Let Me Be Your Baby with its out of nowhere kind of sound. What really made the soundtrack stand out was the wonderful Vanessa Williams/Brian McKnight duet, Love Is. Perfect matchup that boosted both singers' music careers incredibly and gave them more solo hits on their own. I still hear that song a good 13 years later on some radio stations--people still love it. This soundtrack set the tone for more kinds of pop oriented soundtracks in the '90s with the biggest names on the planet on one collection. These days, the NOW series does this method. But this is fun, escapism pop to promote a very popular TV show on Fox, when Jason Priestley's green eyes swooned female viewers.

90210 rocked my world as a kid and still does. The soundtrack is cheezy 80's music but come on.....who doesn't want still love all the drama of Brenda and Dylan?
