Like many a male, I've always found Beverley Hills Bordello to be among the best made-for-cable soft-core shows to air. The women were usually drop dead and the episodes had a dependable quality to them that was beyond the norm. This is why I bought this DVD, as well as the Things Your... DVD. That said, I was very disapointed with these disks. For starters, these disks lack ANY chapter select making it a hassel to find your favorite scenes or even jump to any of the three episodes! This alone makes these unworthy of your money. But, if that weren't bad enough, there is an even more deplorable afront on these disks. As far as I can best determine, the episodes used aren't among the series best. They look to be from the later seasons of the show where the eye-candy, babe quality, and production budget took a steep decline. And the final insult on this DVD in particular (Girlfriends), the name and cover of the disk may imply that this one is loaded with lots of lushish girl-girl scenes, but only the first (and [bad[) episode has such a scene. I can think of several episodes that would have fit this theme much better. That there subjects this DVD to the three-strikes rule. Buy it at your own risk. You have been warned.
If you are a Beverly Hills Bordello fan, I'd suggest hunting down the two out of print DVDs which are available on Amazon.com's used dealers. These disks are much better in every regard and should be more of what you're looking for...Quality really does sell.
