Book Description

November 14, 2003 A-List
Anna's worst nightmare comes true when her internship falls through and she finds herself the new girl at Beverly Hills High...Going to school with the witches from hell, Sam, Cammie and Dee, was so not in the plan. Bizarrely, though, they seem super-keen to hang out with her - but Anna's gotten wise to LA now, and she knows that everyone has a hidden agenda. Meanwhile Ben's acting strange and she still hasn't figured out why he left her stranded on New Year's Eve...It's a good thing Adam's around - could he be the only sane, genuine person in Los Angeles?

5.0 out of 5 stars More raw than the new Zoey, February 8, 2006

This review is from: Beverly Hills High (A-List) (Paperback)
I have just gotten a copy of this book and it seems that her book "New York to LA" came first, then this one. I would assume New York to LA is the full, in detail writing of Anna's adventure over to the west coast. Now, in this "Beverly Hills High", Zoeys writing is raw. It's more believable and with more detail. However, both books are the same story as "The A List" (that we know), practically the same, but more of this one makes sense and again, has much more detail.
The whole first chapter is about Susan (Anna's sister) Then the second chapter starts off where Anna is alreay enrolled in BHH and she already knows Ben.
Personally, I think it's great. Also, from a standpoint of another author and an admirer of Zoey's books, it's going to be a collectors item. I'm glad I just picked up a copy for myself!
