5.0 out of 5 stars It's my favorite ICP ep.
It was the last Icp cd I bought to complete my collection. The reason for that is, I was told that it was there worst Ep, but it ended up being my favorite! My favorite track is "Beverly Kills 50187". 'nother good tracks are "chop chop" and "The stalker". A juggalo Must-have.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good
Deffinitly not thier best EP, but its has it's highlights. Songs like "Chop Chop" and the hilarious "In Da Haugghhh" are some of the best but the highest point of this album gotta be "The Stalker". This was done back when Insane Clown Posse was known as Inner City Posse (all REAL juggalos will agree with me, and if u don't u don't know ish...

I gotta say, I think Beverly Kills was a great EP. The raps were good, the beats were pretty good, and I like most of the little hidden stuff. Some good old school stuff from ICP.
"Beverly Kills" (B+) is a really funny song about killing those richie hill kids and stuffing them in the locker. The beat is good and the lyrics from J and Shaggs are funny and those little skits during the song is funny, too.
"17 Dead" (C) is a good song. Nothing special really, but it's still good. The beat is kinda weird.
"The Stalker" (B) is a good song about J stalking some chick. The beat's pretty cool and the whole concept is pretty damn funny. I can relate to this whole song, but let's not get into that. The whole anwsering message skit at the end was great, too.
"In the HAUGHHH!" (B+) is a really great song! It's not really about nothing, but it's still classic. I love it and the way Shaggy sounds when he says "In the haugh" is great. Lyrics are quite amusing too.

"Chop! Chop!" (B) is good stuff. The beat's all cool and carnie-like and the raps are good, too. Esham's in there, and he's always cool., right? Right.
"Joke Ya Mind" (A-) is really great. The music is really cool and the lyrics are interesting (in a good way). All in all, it's a really great song. It's not like anything you've heard from ICP at the time. Good stuff.
Well, if you're a Juggalo or ICP fan, get this, dammit. It's a classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars True Juggalo Sound, December 14, 2004
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
The 1st sideshow cd by ICP and my favourite EP, it's amazing how Carnival Of Carnage sounded, then a few months later this came out sounding so much better, production wise and lyric wise. The album cover was drawn by Shaggy 2 Dope (Just a little info 4 u there)
Beverly Kills 50187: This is a great song about killing the cast of Beverly Hills 90210, beat is good and lyrics are good also.
17 Dead: This track is produced by Esham, which means it is good already, wicked beat and lyrics.
The Stalker:ICP classic here about a stalker as you guessed it,and if you listen to the song you can here messages being played from an answering machine giving threatining messages well that was a guy who was stalking Violent J girlfriend for real at the time.
In The Haughhh:I do not like this song, the beat is good, but i can't stand the lyrics, this song also contains a rapper called Greez-E.
Chop Chop w/Esham: The best song on the album, produced and rapped on by Esham, everything is great the beat and lyrics and most of all the chorus which samples Ice Cube saying ''Swing Swing Swing and a Chop Chop Chop'', there is a line that Esham says here that is censored which is ''Newborn babys heads i drill'' (NASTY).
Joke Ya Mind: This is one of the most slept on ICP songs ever, it's amazing, 2nd best on album, this song was covered by Violent J brother Jumpsteady some years later for his album but i think it is not a patch on this one here.
Overall: A fine EP by ICP, it is very good if you like the old stuff before guitars came along.

5.0 out of 5 stars Some of the freshest ICP stuff ever...., February 1, 2004
By
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
Beverly Kills 50187 is one of the best works of the ICP. It combines wicked phat carnival beats, horrorificly humored lyrics - and excellent rapping from the wicked clowns themsevles - 'Vioent J' and 'Shaggs 2 Dope'. Even though this is an E>P, it is excellent. Definetly their best EP, and even surpasses some of the Jokers Cards. Definetly one of their best works. Violent J and Shaggy have fully developed their throat, and truley sound like wicked clowns here (wheras on Carnival of Carnage, they sounded more like regular rappers..). Excellent beats (sounds like music you would hear at a crackhead carnival operated by Jack the Ripper..). All the tracks are good, but here are rundowns of the some of the best songs: 'Beverly Kills' - This is one of my favorite ICP songs of all time. Kicks off with a wicked short intro, then into a phat carney beat. Awesome slaughter lyrics. '17 Dead' - real good, and provides ideas for some interesting ways too kill people. Phat Beat. 'In the Haugghhh!' - awesome beat, slow - but good. All of the songs are real good though - all classics. If ICP ever put together a Best-Of compilation - Beverly Kills and 17 Dead should definetly be on there (See my profile for my idea of a Best of ICP compilation). A MUST BUY For any Juggalo, Juggalete or underground rap fan. Instant classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great EP, February 4, 2006
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
This came out only a few months after Carnival of Carnage, but the production and sound quality are infinetly better. Esham and Mike E. Clark collaborated together to give ICP that classic sound that put them on the map. Esham makes an appearance on "Chop, Chop" as does ICP's old homie Greez-E on "In The Hauugh" but my favorite song on here is "The Stalker" because of the funky beat to it. All of you new Juggalos out there need to pick this up and see what ICP use to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Old Skool ICP, November 22, 2004
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
This is ICP at their best. Better than any of the crap they been producing lately (bar Hell's Pit). This is a must for any ICP fans, but also a must for fans of good old skool rap. Coz this is really good. Starts off with Beverley Kills, which is a great start to this EP, great beat at the start, not my favorite though. Next is 17 Dead, which is one of my favorites, awesome beat, and lyrics are dope as hell. Best song here has to be Chop! Chop!, which features Esham. Beat is AWESOME, and all rappers here are right on the target. And with Esham producing and being in it, it's guaranteed to be a gem. Other great tracks are Joke Ya Mind, and The Stalker. Get this even if you're not a fan of ICP, because this isn't like any of the garbage you may have heard, its AWESOME.

4.0 out of 5 stars Violent J The Country Singer?, September 23, 2004
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
This is a great EP and probably the best of the three sideshows that the ICP did. It shows a lot of evolution from Carnival of Carnage and sounds more like the ICP that we know of today. It's got some of ICPs most sinister tracks. These being, "17 Dead", "Chop! Chop!" (w/ Esham), and the very wicked "The Stalker" which conatins real voicemails at the end of some weirdo who was stalking the girl 2Dope was banging at the time, creepy stuff. It's got that trademark comedy as well such as "In The Haughhh!" where Greeze-E spits, "...I can moonwalk, but I don't cuz that shxt's so fxckin' played out!" All in all a very memorable album. I've been down for quite some time now but I took forever to finally add this one to my Psychopathic collection and am sure glad I copped it after all these years. Beverly Kills 50187 (the numbers being a police reference, act like ya know fool) is impressivly long for an EP. Bottom line, don't sleep on this just cuz it's not one of Insane Clown Posse's more hyped up albums, cuz it's one of the (if not THE) best non Jokers cards.

Beverly kills is an aewsome c.d.,plain and simple.it might only be an e.p.,but it has amazing tracks that can only be expirianced by listening to it.i think this c.d. is a classic,it was relaesed at a time were the world knew nothing about i.c.p.,and it is a good transition from the 1st jokers card(carnival of carnage)to there 2nd relaese(the ringmaster.)as a long standing i.c.p. fan,i konw what i'm talking about.

5.0 out of 5 stars If Only C.O.C. sounded like this!, January 2, 2003
By
"axeeugene" (Alexandria, Virginia USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beverly Kills 50187 (Audio CD)
Beverly Kills 50187 is exactly what Carnival of Carnage should have been. Here the killer clown gimmick is fully embraced while offering crud and indulgent humor that succeeds in being funny, as well as revolting. Much of this disc is boasted by it's production by Mike Clark working a more emphatically fleshed out Dark Carnival mystique. Clark employs the use of a more appropriate sounding samples that fit ICP rather than make them sound canned. A live bass player is also added more edge and ominous tone. It's still not the most polished rap release but the crude beats and colorful knob twists serve the clownish devices well. If ICP rhymes never sat well with a person before, this EP will not convert. In fact many die hard fans point to this release as a it's first foray into ICP's more disturbed and seedier realms. "The Stalker" and the title track (that includes killing characters from it's titles inspiration) just showcases some more serious mental irregularities. Still, overall this represents a good step for the duo to embrace it's gimmick and give it life.
