George Harrison's songwriting is one of the less-examined treasures left to us from his era in popular music. Both of George's versions of Beware of Darkness (this one and the live version on Concert for Bangladesh), and the tribute version recorded at the Albert Hall concert with Clapton singing, are wonderful reminders of George's talent. I am lucky to have lived through a golden age of pop music. I'm sure George would want me to honor him by keeping my mind and ears open for talents equal to his own.
