Editorial Reviews

Black Market Militia s self titled debut was one
of the hottest joints to drop in 2005. The group
consists of Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi,
Timbo King, Hell Razah and the man responsible
for putting it all together... William Cooper.
Cooper now continues the Black Market Militia
legacy with the release of his long anticipated
solo album Beware The Pale Horse. Though this
is Cooper s debut, the list of guests is long and
solid with verbals from Kool G. Rap, Ill Bill,
Nature, Blue Raspberry, 9th Prince and more.
Black Market Militia fans won t be disappointed
as Killah Priest and Hell Razah lend a hand with Cooper handling the bulk of the production.
This is no one trick pony, Beware The Pale
Horse picks up right where Black Market
Militia left off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Black Market Militia...William Cooper February 13, 2010
Format:Audio CD
This was a great album, not many people know who William Cooper (rapper) is. He first appeared on the Black Market Militia debut album. He comes out strong on this album, with political, conspiracies and religious type lyrics. His flow and delivery is great with the accompany of great beats. And great guest appearances like Killah Priest, Kool G Rap, Hell Razah, Blue Rasberry and Ill bill. The only problem I have with the album is that most of the songs are short. Is it just me or is William Cooper afraid to spit a third verse. Other than that it was one of the great rap albums to be released in 2009.

Standout Tracks: "One Roll of the Dice"
"Still Shining" feat. Killah Priest
"Painful Pages"
"American Gangsters feat. Kool G Rap
"Beware of the Pale Horse" feat. Ill Bill

5.0 out of 5 stars Why isn't this more well known? December 26, 2013
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Why isn't this more well known? Probably cause many people are too dumb to want to hear this stuff. But doesn't it get old to listen to booty shaking drug dealing joints? This is a political and semi spiritual LP that goes hardcore. I think I love every track that on here. This anti-establishment music that many probably won't understand. If you are anti-new world order and like guys like Immortal Technique and Paris you should check this out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not your typical hip-hop cd. January 31, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Although the whole Cd is excellent, the stand out tracks are:

One Roll of the Dice (The video is awesome)
Feel Afraid
Free
Bring It Back (Nice Isaac Hayes sample)

My only "complaint" is that this cd was too short.

All in all, great work. Can't wait for his next project to come out.
