Uberly Awesome,
By "ultima_55" (Yellowknife, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beyblade G Revolution (Audio CD)
Now... if you are a Beyblade fan, I highly reccommend you get this CD. It contains (almost) all the background music and theme songs from the Japanese version of Beyblade G-Revolution.The music is extremely good, and varies in styles, tones, and atmosphere. It goes from having a hard rock edge (ie: Takao no Theme, Bokura no jidai e -go ahead-, Battle G-Revolution IV) to poppy, peppy songs (Daichi no Theme, Identified), to sweeping orchestrated tracks (Jin no Theme, Climax Part One), to quiet sad ones (Blader no Tamashii II, Climax Part Two), to just plain J-Pop (Kaze no Fuku Basho, Sign of Wish -- both performed by newcomer Makiyo). Now, all of the vocal tracks are in Japanese, so if you are language-phobic, you might have a hard time listening in. Number of Tracks: 38 If you're a Beyblade fan, GET THIS OST. If not... well, get it to enjoy the music. ^__^

Slightly Better Than Most OSTs,
This review is from: Beyblade G Revolution (Audio CD)
Most anime OSTs (original soundtracks) consist of an opening and ending theme, with the rest filled in with random instrumental background music. I found the same to be true with this cd, with the slight exception of having most, if not all, of the G Revolution arc's opening and ending themes.
My translation of the track titles is as follows: 1) Bokura no Jidai e (go ahead) [It's my time (go ahead)] (op) 2) Takao's Theme (instrumental) 3) Kai's Theme (instrumental) 4) Rei's Theme (instrumental) 5) Max's Theme (instrumental) 6) Kyouju's Theme (instrumental) 7) Daichi's Theme (instrumental) 8) Hiromi's Theme (instrumental) 9) ??? (instrumental) 10) BBA's Theme (instrumental) 11) ??? (instrumental) 12) ??? (instrumental) 13) ??? II (instrumental) 14) OH YES!! (op) 15) Takao's Theme II (instrumental) 16) Kai's Theme II (instrumental) 17) Rei's Theme II (instrumental) 18) Max's Theme II (instrumental) 19) Jin's Theme (instrumental) 20) ??? (end) 21) Battle G Revolution (instrumental) 22) Battle G Revolution II (instrumental) 23) Battle G Revolution III (instrumental) 24) Battle G Revolution IV (instrumental) 25) Barudesu no ??? (instrumental) 26) Identified (op) 27) ???'s Bladers (instrumental) 28) ???'s Blader's II (instrumental) 29) ???'s Blader's III (instrumental) 30) ???'s Tamer (instrumental) 31) Climax I (instrumental) 32) Climax II (instrumental) 33) ???'s BGM (instrumental) 34) Sign of Wish (end) 35) DANCIN' BATTLE (instrumental) 36) Hard Hit! Hard Battle!! [bonus track] (instrumental) 37) Victoria (op) 38) Urban Love (end) All in all, it's not too bad. A lot of the instrumental tracks that aren't the members' themes can get pretty annoying, though. |
