Beyonce is very talented and she just had an amazing year with her multi-platinum album that brought her hits such as "Crazy in love" and "Naughty girl". So now you'll have the chance to see that success on stage. This DVD contains a concert at Wembley stadium, where Beyonce sings almost all her solo songs plus a medley with the best songs of Destiny's Child. The show is very good (not amazing), Beyonce's voice sounds also good, but besides the show I think that the special features are also good with behind the scenes with Beyonce and Beyonce's performance at The Brit Awards 2004. What I think that what's missing in this production are her videos and the rest of the songs that come on "Dangerously in love". Finally you'll get with this DVD a bonus cd that contains: "Wishing on a star", "What's it gonna be", "My first time", "Krazy in luv" and a remix from "Naughty girl".

Beyonce-Live In Wembley,

I've been a huge fan of Beyonce and Destiny's Child since day ONE. So many people criticize her because she is the main focus of the group and the spotlight is constantly on her. Not to deny the talents of the other two girls in DC, but this concert DVD gives a very strong indication as to why Beyonce is the star that she is today.
There is no other contemporary female star out there that can sing like her, this girl has been gifted with such an incredible range and a beautiful voice. Her dancing has improved DRASTICALLY since the last DC world tour and she just seems more confident and exudes far more charisma than ever before. This is a good concert dvd, Beyonce keeps the energy level high and when she does slow it down, she showcases her superb vocal abilities. The stand-out for me was her performance of "Dangerously In Love" she looked great, and she sang like she was on fire. I would have given this DVD 5 stars but I think that she needs to work a little more on her stage presence and there is no excuse for all the lip-synching for someone as talented as her. But then again, people forget that she is not even 25 years old yet, so there is plenty of time for her to polish her act and become the great superstar she is meant to be.

An Average Concert At Best...,

I'm not understanding all the five-star reviews for this concert. Are we reviewing Beyonce' or the actual concert here?
Beyonce' is one of the best female singers of our time. She exudes such control over her voice and will let you know that her voice is definitely not one of a thin nature. But, by the looks of this concert, it's obvious that she is used to the backing of Destiny's Child and not at all quite ready to go on a world tour alone. Not to say that this concert was a total mess at all. Beyonce's shines on "Dangerously In Love". Although some people criticize all the vocal ad-libbing after the actual song, it actually shows you the creativity she has in using her instrument. She shows off her amazing range throughout the song, but the ad-libbing is where her voice is at its best. "Baby Boy" and Naughty Girl" were both excellent performances with two good dance routines, and you would definitely join in to sing along. "Work It Out" showed Beyonce' cutting loose a la Tina Turner...it baffles me why this song wasn't overplayed like all of her other songs. "Gift From Virgo" had the perfect ambiance for the song, a nice slower number with Beyonce' sitting on a swing and the lighting reflecting her swinging in the sky. Excellent. And the closing "Crazy In Love" always makes you get up and wanna dance along (although I could have done completely without the guys dancing in their boxers). A couple of the performances were just okay..."Fever" didn't give me anything to go on although Bee sounded great. As did "Be With You", in which Beyonce' sang well but didn't have anything spectacular going on in the background. I could not thoroughly enjoy this concert and was very glad that I wasn't in the audience. There was a large amount of obvious lip-synching, especially on "Yes", which would have been a lot better had Beyonce' sang the whole song versus just singing at the end. And when I saw the set for that song, I immediately thought of En Vogue's video for "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)"...too reminiscent. "Hip Hop Star" was never my favorite song from the beginning, and Bee's performance of the song made me like it even less with the lip-synching of the verses. After "Speechless" (which was mediocre and should have been waaay better), the concert seems to take a lazy feel. "Me, Myself, and I" and "Summertime" were equally uninspiring. And what in the world was the DC medley about? I think that would have gone a lot better had the other members of DC joined her on stage for those songs versus Beyonce' singing them alone. She knew the cameras would be there for this DVD, I'm sure they could have come just for that mess-ley. Another thing that bothered me was the camera. A lot of the camera angles focused too much on the audience and on the lighting versus the intricate dance moves during some songs. I would have loved the focus to be on the dancers versus some screaming little girl. Also, what was going on with the slow-motion shots that looked like they came from a camera phone? No. This DVD also comes with a CD that featured some songs that I wish were never released or recorded. "Wishing On A Star" sounds a complete and utter mess, and "Krazy In Luv" was complete foolishness. "What's It Gonna Be" was nice, but obviously was brought down by thos aforementioned songs and some forgettable remixes. This concert is truly evidence that Beyonce' needed DC to back her up. It wasn't a total waste, but save for the singles, this left a lot to be desired.

I love Beyoncé and, usually, I find her excellent on stage, but this concert is not good.
She lypsinc, and I really don't understand why because she has a wonderful voice. Maybe it's a good concert in general, but it's not as good as what Beyoncé can do.

This DVD was good, but I think Beyonce is the greatest all around female entertainer, I mean Janet is good buit she cant sing as well ad Beyonce.I feel like the energy dropped from the start of the concert, but Beyonce is creative who would have thought to come in upside down, that is an entertainer. Her vocals were on point and the dance moves were good, and she has some white dancers who can dance their butts off.

I love Beyonce, not as much for her behind, as most, but because she can truly sing, dance and so profound in her performances. This DVD however did not have the energy that I am accustomed to seeing from her television performances. I have the feeling that it has something to do with what segments of the show were recorded edited, etc. She is still...the SHizit.

Beyonce showed a prime example of what it means to be a great entertainer. It's not one boring moment. The themes and choreography keeps your undivided attention. It's an excellent tool, for those who are aspiring artists. Really good bonus extras too. If you don't like Beyonce anyway, then you shouldn't bye this because it will only cause more hateration in your blood, 'cause she turned it out vocally, theatrically, and dance wise!
