Analog surfmonster?, July 18, 2001

'Beyond the black hole' is a compilation of material from the Estrus days of Man or Astro-man?, similar to 'What remains inside a black hole' from '97. But not entirely. Exception number one: These tracks are digitally remastered, which makes the sound more powerful, ecspecially with this energetic surf-music. Exception numer two: It contains 3(?) previously unreleased, that is on disc-format, amazing tracks, not to be found on 'What remains inside a black hole'. So, if you already have 'What remains...' and if you are not a die-hard fan, you don't have to buy this one. But if you ARE a die-hard fan, you can't miss it. Plus: it's nice to hear those old analog surfmonster-sounds again, they make you wanna dance.
