Format: Paperback
An enjoyable read, page turning suspense and a feeling that you are there seeing it all happen. Mr. Smith displays great knowledge of guns, hunting and the Alaskan wilderness. It's not just for guys, there is also some romance in the story. My wife, who also enjoyed the book, described it as a "Harlequin romance" from a guy's perspective.

This was a good read. It was definitely an easy reader and had some good thoughts within it. Most of the story was predictable....except for the end. I finished this book in a day in a half. Will now try another book by this author.

If you love the outdoors and adventure, you'll love this book. Mr. Smith brings a great story alive. His knowledge of guns and the outdoors is amazing. You'll feel like you're with the hero hiking through the Wrangell Mountains.
