She lives with her partner, Lee, in Philadelphia, PA where she both writes and practices surgery full-time. She states, "I began reading lesbian fiction at the age of twelve when I found a copy of Ann Bannons Beebo Brinker. Not long after, I began collecting every book with lesbian content I could find. The new titles come much faster now than they did in the decades when a new book or two every year felt like a gift, but I still treasure every single one. These works are our history and our legacy, and I am proud to contribute in some small way to those archives."

Long awaited sequel does not disappoint,
By
This review is from: Beyond The Breakwater (Paperback)
In this sequel to Radclyffe's first published novel Safe Harbor, we catch up with Tory, Reese and Bri two years later. While young lovers Bri and Carre are struggling with their relationship and the demands of adulthood, Tory and Reese are moving on with the next chapter of theirs... having a baby together. This romance has more action than Safe Harbor. There are tough choices for both couples and dangerous events where Reese and Tory both incur risks and possible loss of life and where Bri and Carre risk losing the love they share. With every twist and turn, we hope that love will prevail. Radclyffe's character development is excellent as always. She gets to the point while letting us learn more about each character along the way. Her love scenes are both sensual and erotic, sometimes leaving little to the imagination. This book has more than one hero, but our main hero, Reese, is truly one of a kind. All of us wish we could have a hero like that in our lives. This is a book that you will reread time and again, wishing you were right there.

A Sequel As Good As The First,
By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond The Breakwater (Paperback)
Take the romantic setting of Provincetown, add a sexy doctor and a gorgeous sheriff and you have the makings of an amazing, passionate, love story. In this sequel to SAFE HARBOR, Radclyffe again takes us into the lives of Reese and Tory and their family and friends. This story is as compelling and well written as the first and just as hot. If not hotter. Radclyffe is the leader in sensual, erotic, sexy love scenes. She boldly goes where other authors fear to go. You will not be disappointed. It's about time there was a fresh approach to lesbian romance and Radclyffe is it.

Super Read - 4 great characters,

This review is from: Beyond the Breakwater (Paperback)
I liked the first novel in this series and expected to enjoy this book. I Loved it ! The romance between the 2 main characters was wonderful. What kept me from putting the book down until finished was the rocky relationship with the two secondary characters. I kept wanting to knock some sense into one of them. Throughly enjoyable read.
Look for the newest edition published by Bold Strokes Books October 2004. This is a Keeper ! Don't miss all the books in this series - Safe Harbor Beyond the Breakwater Distant Shores, Silent Thunder Storms of Change - available October 2006
