5.0 out of 5 stars The best band no one knows, October 6, 2004
By Justin Neeley (Monroe, NC) - See all my reviews
For a band almost totally unknown, they are amazingly great. I love this cd, I've hooked a lot of my friends to the blank theory and have bought this cd many times as gifts. Here's how I'd rate the tracks:

1. Middle of Nowhere: 10/10
2. Addicted: 10/10
3. Fathers Eyes: 10/10
4. Sour Times: 10/10
5. Killing Me: 10/10
6. Invisible: 10/10
7. Broken: 10/10
8. Thicker: 10/10
9. Back of My Mind: 10/10
10. Recluse: 7/10
11. Corporation: 8/10
12. Fear of God: 8/10
13. Martyr: 8/10

As you can see the first nine tracks are awesome. And then the last four songs sort of drop off. They are still decent songs though. Great cd. Unique too. Can't wait for the next cd.

5.0 out of 5 stars GET THIS ALBUM!!!, January 21, 2003
By Laura Piscitello (Des Plaines, IL) - See all my reviews
once you start listening to this cd, you will not want to stop. each song has it's own engery and life, and it's almost impossible not to want to listen to the whole cd at a time... each time i put in the cd to hear a song that's stuck in my head, i end up listening to the entire thing (sometimes more than once!!) and i don't think i have enough time to rave about the live show these guys put on. every single person that i know who has seen them live has instantly fallen in love with the music. this is a must have cd for anyone's collection! the thing i like best about the blank theory is that not only do they have fabulous energy, but the vocals are amazing. nathan's voice is unlike a lot of new rock out there (ie- it's not nasally!)... if you don't have this cd- get it now.. without hesitation! you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD for the price, December 6, 2004
By MathewVeteran "AK" (Miniral Falls, CA) - See all my reviews
The Blank Theory has a sound that cannot be compared to Nu-metal or mall-core, people that say that are wrong. Beyond the Calm of the Corridor earns 5 stars easily. They have the 3rd best sound I can remember listening to besides Spineshank and In Flames. It has Harmony in all the right places and blends aggresion into every song to create a sound that cannot be matched. They deffinatley found their own style in the growing metal scene. I highly recemend buying this CD to any Metal fan that does not mind some melody in what they listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD is pretty damn good if you like nu-metal
I thought that this CD was a very good CD overall. It does have the drift of linkin park/adema/sevendust type bands so if you like them you'll love this CD. Read more
