5.0 out of 5 stars GET THIS ALBUM!!!
once you start listening to this cd, you will not want to stop. each song has it's own engery and life, and it's almost impossible not to want to listen to the whole cd at a time... each time i put in the cd to hear a song that's stuck in my head, i end up listening to the entire thing (sometimes more than once!!) and i don't think i have enough time to rave about the...

3.0 out of 5 stars its ok...
i liked the demo i got a few years back way better. it seemed to flow better. i was psyched to get the cd when i heard the demo but once i actually heard the full thing i was disappointed. on the full album everything just kinda sounds forced. the only song i really enjoy is Sour Times. i loved it when Portishead did it (was that the original? im not sure) and this ones a...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD for the price, December 6, 2004
By
The Blank Theory has a sound that cannot be compared to Nu-metal or mall-core, people that say that are wrong. Beyond the Calm of the Corridor earns 5 stars easily. They have the 3rd best sound I can remember listening to besides Spineshank and In Flames. It has Harmony in all the right places and blends aggresion into every song to create a sound that cannot be matched. They deffinatley found their own style in the growing metal scene. I highly recemend buying this CD to any Metal fan that does not mind some melody in what they listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the greatest bands, June 15, 2004
By
Aaron (Toledo, Oh USA) - See all my reviews
First of i would like to start by saying that The Blank Theory is one of the best band out right know. IF you have ever seen them in concert than you would hands down agree with me that they are one of the hardest rocking bands around, i have seen Static-X, Coal Chamber, American Headcharge, and The blank Theory can hang with the best of them. They have really good song content, and a lot of people can realate to what they are saying in there songs. They got some slow songs, but then they pick it up with the heaveir stuff and they are one of the best bands out right now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good debut from a promising band, April 13, 2003
By
Yova (Portomouro, A Coruña (Spain)) - See all my reviews
In my searching of new bands to listen to, I found this band, and his original name caughted my attention. So I downloaded 'Middle of Nowhere' and say 'Hey, that sounds good!'. Then I bought the album, and I really like it.

Well, of course they're not exactly original, and they're not an amazing band, but at least they have something to offer, and I think they can improve a lot in the future, and become an important band. Hard riffs, heartfelt vocals, deep rythms and some original sounds, like in 'Middle of Nowhere' (which I think is the best song in the album). It's that kind of bands that you instantly like, and the more you listen to, the more they like you.

For me, TBT sounds really similar to TRUSTcompany, similar to Trapt, maybe to Staind, and of course it's similar to Tool, so if you like all this bands, some of them or at least other bands like this, then listen to 'Beyond the calm of the corridor'. Don't expect something new, just well done rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still a great album, even after two years!, May 28, 2005
I got this album two or three years ago now and its still more than enjoyable and hasn't become stale. This is quite a good album, with diverse sounds and textures to the music. If your looking for something new to listen to, you can't go wrong with this album. If you already own it, consider one for a friend!

This album is in major rotation in my not only in my CD player but on my internet radio station. The CD from top to bottom is extremely well thought out and has a very tight and true sound that everyone can appreciate and enjoy. I can't praise this album enough. You'll be happy that you added this album to your collection!

4.0 out of 5 stars How come they aren't more popular?, December 1, 2003
By
Jake (Riverwoods, IL USA) - See all my reviews
This is one seriously awesome CD. I found out about The Blank Theory when researching the song "Broken Glass". It was said to be by my favorite band, Linkin Park, but I wasn't sure. Through a review on another site I learned that it's by this band. After countless message board arguments by fans of both bands, I confirmed it. As soon as I heard "Invisible", "Middle of Nowhere" (which i'm listening to now), and "Addicted", I was hooked. If you're a Linkin Park fan or a fan of similar bands, buy this now! The combination of multiple types of rock is amazing and I wonder, WHY ARE THEY NOT MORE POPULAR? I dinged them off one star because of the similarity of some songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the most amazing band ever!!!!!!, October 24, 2003
By A Customer
The Blank theory is one of those unknown bands that come along and just fade away without anyone knowing about them. That really really deserved to be heard by many many more, there the greatest band to come out with in the past 5 years. There singer, beats and everything is top notch. And the lyrics are sooo powerful, and not some bs like we get from so many other bands these days, the lyrics in this cd are unbelivible. I Highly Highly Highly reccomend this cd to ever single person, if you cant appricate this band, then you really arent a true music lover.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another solid rock album from another new artist, July 28, 2003
By
Great solid rock! Heavy and hard hitting, but with a soft touch. This sounds nothing like Tool so don't let the words of other reviewers fool you into thinking this is like Tool or Staind because it is neither. Both are great bands, but this is nothing like them. I do agree however with other reviewers, there is nothing really new here, just great music. I recommend this CD to anyone who wants music that offers both heavy and soft tracks. Pick this up!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have to any hard rock fan., March 13, 2003
I came across the blank theory, by downloading two of there songs(middle of nowhere, and addicted) and instanly became a fan, and had to go purchase there cd. Every song on this album is amazing, very emotional, heartfelt vocals, heavy guitars, pounding drums and nice smooth low end, perfect craftsmanship and texture on every song, this cd has absolutely no flaws on it.i highly recommend purchasing this cd ASAP, if you like music like tool, sunset black, staind etc you'll love the blank theory.
