An unremarkable gamebook...,

--Characters--Compared to the predecessor "Escape," the characters are developed a little better. The exception is "Haven" - although he was well developed in "Escape," his character gets too huge of a change. His character does not go well with the main plot and believability of the book - the story would have been much better without him in it. In fact, his character should have been saved for another book. --Artwork-- Horrible. It looks like the same artist for "Escape." --Story-- The storyline involving saving Matt and Mimla is decent and is a slight improvement over "Escape." But Haven's storyline ruins the overall quality of this book. I don't recommend this book. |
