This review is from: Beyond the Good Death: The Anthropology of Modern Dying (Hardcover)
James Green has written a very thought provoking anthropology of death and dying
in modern America (and other places). His research includes just about every detail of death from how we choose to die, how we bury our dead, and our beliefs about the afterlife and the controversies surrounding them. Well presented, and easy to read, his narrative flows easily from subject to subject leaving no stone unturned. A must read for anyone interested in this subject whether you are a professional or just someone who wants their eyes opened a little more. Jody Dark Eagle Breedlove |
