5.0 out of 5 stars A Mindblowing Romp Through the Realm of Internal Reality, November 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Beyond Good and Evil: The Eternal Split-Second Sound-Light Being (Paperback)
I was blown away by this book. It starts off a little boring. That's because the "identity" writing the first section is a rather boring guy. He's a psychiatrist who teaches psychiatrists, and he is rather dry and unimaginative in his thinking.

Then a second section of the book is from the perspective of a patient/student of the previously mentioned Dr. This guy is a lot more interesting to listen to and leaves your mind grasping for a stable reference for what is going on as Peter relates his experiences, in his "world."

Section three is a transcript from a Dick Cavett show with both Dr and Dr./Patient on and being interview by Cavett. Sections in there made my mouth drop open, it was so shocking. The last third of the book is a real page turner. You just can't wait to find out what is revealed next. I'm certainly happy I read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars ..."I'll meet you out in the field"..., December 3, 2006
This review is from: Beyond Good and Evil: The Eternal Split-Second Sound-Light Being (Paperback)
This book: luminous, surreal, whimsical, provocative, clever, humane, fractal, generous, and wise...among other things...imagine a work by William S. Burroughs crossed with Ken Kesey crossed with Nietszche...the book opens with a lovely quote from Rumi...to Rumi, the author is a kindred spirit...reading this book made me want to question everything, including the notion of questioning everything...
