I do most of my writing on the back of fast-food wrappers'usually while waiting for carpool. It still
amazes me I finished four books. That's a lot of chicken quesadillas!

This book is a superb all-in-one-place resource for parents who want to make holidays meaningful and memorable for their children. Salzman makes celebrating easy as she offeres the historial and spiritual significance of each American holiday. She then provides activities and simple, yummy recipes for kids of all ages. I wish I had had this book when home schooling my son! You will consult this book over and over through the years.
