The Environmental Issues Are Solvable!,

This review is from: Beyond Light Bulbs: Lighting the Way to Smarter Energy Management (Hardcover)
This is an excellent book for the lay-person who wants to make a difference but doesn't know where to start. Susan very skillfully explains what the issues are and how to resolve them from the personal perspective to the governmental and corporative levels. With a little effort from each of us, we can make a huge difference. I found this book to be understandable and hopeful. I now have some great resources right at my fingertips! Inspiring!

I appreciated the knowledge I gained from reading this book. I learned various ways I can contribute, as an individual, to a greener environment. There were several ideas around managing my house to use less energy, that I had never thought of. Additionally, this book educated me on the broad view of the types and amounts of energy we use. I highly recommend this book as an educational source.

Not worth buying,
This review is from: Beyond Light Bulbs: Lighting the Way to Smarter Energy Management (Hardcover)
Beyond Light Bulbs has no new information that most environmentally-savvy people don't already know. Plus there is some information that is not accurate. The author thinks it is good re-cycling to re-fill plastic water bottles. She does not mention that purchasing water in plastic water bottles is a bad idea at the start. In another section she speaks about "viruses breeding" in moist conditions. That is not correct; viruses don't "breed". I quit reading the book at that point.
