4.0 out of 5 stars Meaningful Mornings with Your Students, June 18, 2001
By
This review is from: Beyond Morning Message (Grades K-2) (Paperback)
While helpful and full of good ideas, this book on morning messages through daily letters to your class is too general for the average classroom teacher. The main problem with the book is that it spans kindergarten through second grade, covering a range of age levels, though none very thoroughly. Unless you teach in a multi-age classroom, it leaves you feeling as though you should have paid much less for the amount of material that applies to your grade level.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly helpful, October 23, 2005
This review is from: Beyond Morning Message (Grades K-2) (Paperback)
I'd highly recommend this book to teacher's looking for ideas to make Morning Messages more valuable. My NYU student-teachers agree that Valerie Schifferdanoff provides great ideas for maximizing this opportunity for teaching and learning.
