Definite page turner with lots of twists & turns,

Enjoyed the sequel a little bit better than the first book because it did not have as many characters to remember. Loved the way the author had all of the character's lives inter-related. The mothers of the main characters had such a tremendous affect on their lives. Could not put the book down - but still would like to know who is Lisa's FATHER!!!! Great book and the author has a talent of telling a story. Keep writing Breggie.

This books was absolutely interesting. There was some very interesting characters. I finished reading it in 24 hours. I always wanted to be a soror but never did. It made me laugh, cry, get mad and try to get even. I would recommend this to any and everyone that likes a good read.

superb story *S*,
This review is from: Beyond Our Mothers Footsteps (Paperback)
i was so excited when i read there was a sequel to sister secrets. it was so fulfilling to me to know that these ladies sacrifice a lot for their families and friends no matter what. it's like all in the family when someone needs help, everyone pitches in. differences were amend because they all stood together and worked their problems out. on a deeper note the spirits made it a lot touching and emotional because we all have lost that somebody we loved deeply rather it was a friend or a loved one, and we still want that special connection to them like our guardian angels *S* this is a great book to read about forgiveness, understandings and letting go of the past. *S*

It comes together...,
This review is from: Beyond Our Mothers Footsteps (Paperback)
I felt that this book needed to be written after reading "Sister Secrets." I had so many questions and "Beyond..." answered them. I enjoyed this book. The characters were scaled down and you could become more interested in them. I liked these people and and wanted good to come of them. I was glad that this author went back and gave us clarification on some of the older characters from "Sister Secrets." This book kept me interested. in the outcome of each person. Good job.

Ms James has done a wonderful job of developing these characters. After reading her 1st novel, "Sister Secrets", this sequel brings it all together. There are not as many characters which really enhanced their development. I loved the suspense and how all the characters are finally tied together. I truly could not put this one down...A job well, well done.. Renessia Thomas

A Great Sequel,

Breggie James has done it again. This book puts closure to all the mysteries that came about in "Sister Secrets". I literally had to write down all the characters and their relationship to make sure I had everything straight. This book was a perfect example of how we need to know our past in order to avoid repeating it. James makes us realize that the Mother/Daughter bond is somehting special and should not be taken fro granted.

Breggie, I just discovered you and read both of your books. Ms. James, you have a gift for writing. I enjoyed the story lines and I must say, "you can diffently write a sequel." I loved it the second time around. When is the next book?, because my sister you have a reader waiting to read. I must share these two books with my sorors and those who believe in Sisterhood regardles if they are sorority sisters. You are a superb writter. In order to know about this book, you have to buy it in order to behold it richness.

Ms. Breggie is an excellent writer. This is good book just like the first book, "Sister Secrets". The story line was just awesome as well as the characters. The character Debra or Della whichever one she really is was off the hook! I know Ms. Breggie is gonna have a sequel to this one, she can't keep a sistah hanging. I want to know who Lisa's father really is.

I thought that this book ws very delightful. It was written very good better than the first. But the story is what kept me intrigued. It shows how true sisterhood is not about being in a sorority but it goes far beyond that. To those you reading the book to find about sororities, this is not that type of book. The best way to find out about sororities is to talk to members of the sorority. Breggie, I look forward to the next book. I think that these books were very good.
