I must admit Heather Killough-Walden is one of my favorite authors and I have read everything that she has written that I can get my hands on. Forever Neverland was my favorite title that she has written of all her titles - now it's Beyond Neverland - and I must admit I was saddened by how Forever ended, but was okay with the ending because it ended how it should have.

Then there was the FABULOUS news that Beyond Neverland was coming out... I waited on pins and needles till the very end of 2013 for this book. Knowing that Heather is an amazing writer - in my opinion - I couldn't, in good consciousness, start her book till I could give it the time it deserved, as well as knowing that I would have the worst book hangover ever.

I was right - worst book hangover ever - and here I am not believing that this tale is done - hopefully it's done just for now - and I sit here writing this review wanting to go back in time, to have Beyond Neverland in my kindle, brand new, seal not broken, to start again.

I LOVED EVERY MOMENT... even when I got about 84% of the way through and was thinking NO!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HEATHER????

But as usual, Heather sucked me, told and amazing tale I could picture in my mind, like the best movie ever, and I came out at the end, relieved, touched, fulfilled, heart still pounding, and hopeful for the next story with all of these amazing characters as well as any future character developments.

And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Hook is still as fabulous through-out Beyond Neverland as he was in Forever Neverland. Thank you Heather Killough-Walden for yet another amazing tale. I will still be one fan that will continue to stalk you though amazon and facebook, anxiously awaiting the next tale that comes from your unbelievably wonderful imagination.

So Thank you for starting my New Year off Right! Can't wait to see what else will come out of Heather's brilliant mind in 2014.

This was a fantastic end to a great story! I couldn't really have imagined anything better and that's why I gave it 5 stars! Heather Killough-Walden is probably my favorite author and I recommend all of her books but for those of you that love fantasy and romance... this is the story for you. And don't forget adventure! I'm always amazed when an author is able to transport me into another world and I can SEE the story, that's what happened for me in the Neverland books. I wanted to know what happened but I didn't want it to end! I have never anticipated a book like I have this one and I was not disappointed! I hope you enjoy this story as much as I have!

I have to say I loved this book! I read it all in one day because I couldn't put it down. I originally wanted to take my time with it to savor the story but I was like a little kid when they find something interesting. I had to find out what happened to my favorite characters and I wasn't disappointed. I love Hook! Wendy was my second favorite. This story clears so many questions up that I had from the first book. Heather is one awesome writer the way she brings all the characters to life and the locations are so vivid. Thank you Heather :)

I have been waiting and waiting for this book! Once I started, I couldn't put it down.

This book is about love, revenge, and redemption and you will not be disappointed. I also don't want to give any spoilers but man there are some twists and turns!

What an amazing job Heather. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. This is truly a masterpiece.

I was never a fan of peter pan but with this second book about neverland I have a new appreciation of the characters. I enjoy Heather Killough-Waldens books, she brings everything she writes to life. I found myself mesmerized by this book. I couldn't put it down. The depth of all the characters draws you in and keeps you there. I wondered, puzzled, held my breath ,cried and laughed through out the book. I liked the ending of the book, everything was tied up nicely. I just wish in an odd way that there could be another but that is just me wanting more of something so good.

Wow ok I just wanted to say that Beyond Neverland was a fantastic ending to this story. I laughed, I put my phone down and stopped reading because I was mad at one of the characters, had to pick it up again and finish reading, I cried, and I fell in love again with Heather's writing skills and all the wonderful people that she creates. A fantastic story by one of my favorite authors!!

Let's see, how can I put everything I am feeling about this book into words.

Amazing, Wonderful, Heartbreaking and Heart Healing.

I was waiting on baited breath for what felt like an eternity for Beyond Neverland. I have read a lot of books, more than I can say, and Forever Neverland is by far my favorite book EVER! .... Well it was. Now Beyond Neverland has taken that treasured spot. Heather Killough-Walden tied up a lot of loose ends from the first book very nicely as well as opening up a whole new set of questions that may or may not be answered. I don't know if this was the last in this series or if there is anymore, but the way it ended, it could go both ways. Now I am not going to say anything about what happens in the book because I dont want to give it away. I will say that the things I wanted to happen happened, and I screamed, laughed, cried (a lot), felt myself smiling like a moron, and cheered out loud throughout the book.

Will I recommend this to people I know? A big whopping YES, and people I don't know as well!!!
Will I reread both Forever Neverland and Beyond Neverland again? Probably more than I would like to admit. :-)
Do yourselves a faver and read this book!!!

I stumbled upon this author by complete accident one day, years ago. The first book in this series, Forever Neverland, was free. I bought it and reluctantly started reading (I say reluctant because hardly ever do you find a free book that's actually good). I was pleasantly surprised. I loved it. At the end there was a release date for the sequel, Beyond Neverland, for later that year. After doing some research, I had found that the date was wrong and there was no actual release date. I was terribly disappointed but I consoled myself by buying some of Heather's other books. Finally the release day came! I was so excited, I was on my nook checking every hour until it went live. I bought it when I could. It was just as amazing as the first and just as beautifully written. The ending was just perfect, even though it brought a few tears to my eyes (do I smell a spinoff or is that just my hopeful wishing). I highly recommend not just this book, but all of Heather's books.

I love it when an author puts a different spin on a great classic and actually pulls it off! Peter Pan was a classic that I grew up with as a child (way back before the Earth's crust cooled) and I had a very definite idea about what each of the characters were like and what shaped them etc. and this book and the one before it definitely lived up to my expectations and had a few good curve balls in there as wll to add to the fun! Thank you

Most people would be familiar with Peter Pan and Neverland so it amazes me that this author has taken something so well-known and made it her own with the use of imagination and I would say a great deal of love. It is beautifully crafted and draws you in forcefully attaching tentacles to our heart and mind so that we don't question what is unfolding. For the brief time we read this we don't suspend disbelief but rather we choose not to let it matter.

Hook is intense and focused on Wendy, not the story teller but Wendy and though they are central to the story so are Peter, Tinker, the brothers and even the land itself. This is a magic tale about a magic place where fantasy and reality mingle and makes us stop a little and think of all we miss by being pragmatic.

I love this, I love the author and I love it enough to not worry about typos, or the other little things that bother some readers and I must admit matter to me also. Of course these things are important and can happen even to the most diligent. I often reread my reviews and gasp in horror at some glaring errors but you know sometimes the small things can get in the way of accepting the gift of magic that allows us for a short time to leave this world and enter another. To me the book was perfect.
