I met Jim in Saint Peterburg, FL, several years ago, and he is one of the most gentle souls in comedy. His act combines sarcasm with self-deprecation and even a little multiple-personality disorder thrown in for good measure (he constantly reviews his act while he's doing it in the voice of a bewildered audience member) and it is simply hilarious. He's just a big goofy doofus with a genius IQ and the ability to find the humor in just about any situation.

If you've never heard Jim, do yourself a favor and buy this CD. It's a gem. Even better, listen for his appearances on Opie and Anthony on XM Radio Channel 202. Unlike some comics that can only work off their material, Jim is funny when he's just having a conversation and his XM appearances are radio gold.

I have comedy CDs from the masters. Cosby, Seinfeld, Woody Allen, Carlin, and the Blue Collar Boys. All hilarious, but this CD is better than them all. When i listened to this, i laughed so hard, i couldnt breath for 2 minutes. This is the funniest thing ever! The only complaint i have is that they cut out one of the funniest parts of his show on Comedy Central "Baby Daddy." Get this, get the DVD, get his other CD + DVD combo, and go on ebay, and get his first two CDs. A comic god!

I think Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest guys out there. His material is not crude or shocking, it is just plain funny. Many of my friends and family are huge fans as well. We have the DVD too, the CD is just a lot more fun for the car. I highly recommend this CD.

This is one of the better comedy albums I have heard in a while. Very funny. He is a good topic comedian who investigates our daily life.

I'm in my 20's and I listen to this over and over. His humor is really on the mark... But I like the fact that my Dad and Mom like it too.

Jim Gaffigan's brand of off-the-cuff comedy is fantastic. From Panda bears to chocolate cake, nothing escapes his sense of humor. Not very appropriate for children because of some of his subject matter, although it is not too offensive or overly crude. This is a great comedic gem that will have you rolling on the floor--"Did he just say on the floor...sounds dirty." Get it, and you'll understand

Jim Gaffigan rocks! He is the funniest (and in this CD) cleanest comedian I have heard. I must now get his older stuff and await the day he comes out with a new one... I would give my left arm to see his live show!

Wonderful, clean humor. I saw him in person and had to get this CD. He really keeps you laughing.

Jim Gaffigan is hilarious. Beyond the Pale is good clean fun for all the family. My favorite cuts on the DVD were 'Cinnabons' and 'Hot Pockets'. If you're a fan of either food items you will be rolling on the floor. I would definitely recommend his DVD 'Beyond the Pale' to everyone. Great idea for a Christmas Stocking Stuffer.

Jim is another amazing comic whose honest and refreshing work keeps you up at night,
gets you in trouble at work, and makes your kids think you've lost your mind!
So worth every cent!
