Regret buying this book,

The biggest problem with this book is that all the stories, are about people who went through the SAFE program, so they are all pretty much the same, I went to SAFE and that solved my problems. Sort of like an advertisement for SAFE alternatives really. There are numerous ways to overcome self injury, this would have been a good book had it included people's stories who overcame self injury with dbt, meds, individual counseling and things like that. If someone is interested in the SAFE alternatives program this book could be good for them, if not then it isn't a good choice.
