they named her fleur,

rather complex gothic involving:a secret pregnancy,blackmail,mental illness,concealed backgrounds,etc. it has the usual gothic themes but,i thought this a better written book than most i have read.
katherine cornwall answered a call for "help" from her childhood friend,janet,who is now married and living in california. when katherine arrives,she sees her old friend in a different light-a very changed person-not the confident,strong woman she once knew but,a rash,impulsive stranger. what happened to janet to cause such a change? katherine is determined to find out! |
