The only book out there that weds development theory to the practice of solving related problems specifically in Afghanistan. This is an instructive collection of essays by respected scholars and practitioners. Provides interesting detail about the international process for Afghan reconstruction that started after 9/11, and discusses many of the political and logistical difficulties that have bogged us down since.
