About the Author

Stanislaw Kapuscinski, (aka Stan I.S. Law) an architect, sculptor and prolific writer, was educated in Poland and England. A refugee from Poland at 13, then at 33, having overcome numerous difficulties, he began his search for the secret of life. Now, he is a successful writer, happily married for 30 years, with an assured future. His special interests cover a broad spectrum of arts, sciences and philosophy. At times he seeks inspiration in the Peruvian Andes, or solitude under sail. His books (articles, short stories, poetry) attest to his particular passion for the scope and the development of Human Potential. He authored more than thirty books, twenty of them novels. His non-fiction explores Ancient Myths, Biblical Symbolism, Immortality and the mystery of Visualization. Three volumes of Essays (Beyond Religion) investigate the Nature of Being. Generally, if you suspect you are more than flesh and bones, read Stan I.S. Law. If you want to be sure, read Stanislaw Kapuscinski.

In Beyond Religion II, Mr. Kapuscinski continues to take us on our mind-opening journey, delving into both mysteries that have previously confused us, and some mysteries we have not previously thought about.

Again, Mr. Kapuscinski's enormous base of religious, scientific, and mythological knowledge makes this a truly enlightening read. And as always, the author's wit and humor in the text make it constantly enjoyable.

As with Beyond Religion I, many of the essays influenced me right away, some required some reflection and additional thought, and some I have bookmarked to read again.

I can't wait to move on to Beyond Religion III, and have already put Visualization--Creating Your Own Universe and Dictionary of Biblical Symbolism on my reading pile.

As with Beyond Religion I, if you can check your pre-conceived notions and brainwashings at the door, then read this book, Mr. Kapuscinski will open your eyes and your mind, and enrich your life. You will think differently when you are done.

Mr. Kapuscinski's style, with a constant blend of wit and humor, remains a pleasure to read. Although obviously far more knowledgeable than the rest of us, Mr. Kapuscinski never gets "preachy", simply presenting the information for the audience to consume.

I walk away enriched, yet yearning for more of Mr. Kapuscinski's work. In fact, I've already started Beyond Religion III

Stanislaw Kapuscinski's (aka Stan I. S. Law) "Beyond Religion II" is a collection of essays that investigates the nature of truth. One of the things I really enjoyed about the collection is that Kapuscinski extensively references both scriptures, including less-referenced holy documents, such as the Gospel of Thomas, and scientific findings throughout the essays. At the end of each essay the references are academically cited, so you can follow up with the source documents if you wish. I feel like in a lot of works that investigate truth/reality completely neglect scientific findings -- Kapuscinski is not one of those authors. Science is a huge part of his investigation of truth. I particularly enjoyed the section on Einstein's theories. The highlight of this collection of essays, however, is that Kapuscinski gives you thinking points for starting your own journey toward truth. He does not say, "This is how to find truth and investigate reality." Instead, he offers thoughtful, academic information on truth that is yours to do with what you will. The essays are incredibly thought-provoking, and Law cites many documents that I was completely familiar with. There is an essay on "Suicide" that is particularly affecting for me. I had never considered the philosophical ramifications of taking one's own life before. Recommended to anyone who wants an open-minded, unbiased investigation of the nature of truth and reality!

Author Stanislaw Kapuscinski delivers an enlightening and inspiring look at a number of topics ranging from the antichrist, prayers, pain, suicide, baboons, mystery, miracles, marriage, the zodiac, space, time & vibrations, and so much more. Containing 52 Essay's 'Beyond Religion II' takes us on the road to self discovery and opens our minds to deeper truths.

Kapuscinski's work never ceases to amaze me and it is always a pleasure to experience. The freedom of coming out of the misconceptions and boxes we have lived in to discover things we never dreamed were possible is thrilling. It was a frightening experience for me to question religion but once I got passed that and delved into finding the truth I have found a greater spirituality and love than I could have ever dreamed possible before. Anyone who finds themselves awakening to the possibility that there is more out there should read this book. It is a comforting, enlightening, and inspiring experience. I highly recommend it!

I have been a fan of Stanislaw Kapuscinski's work for quite some time now, having read many of his books and series several times. What I haven't delved into as much as I probably should have are his essays and non-fiction titles. Anything from Stan I.S. Law takes me on a journey and leaves me feeling as if I've stretched and grown in ways that I didn't think were possible - and this one was no different. This series of essays on a variety of subjects, from love to suicide to the Koran, are insightful, thought-provoking and affirming. While many concepts I may have already had, which were nice to have supported, there were others that I have struggled with and the perspectives offered by Law never fail to bring me to a new level of understanding. Well-written and beyond interesting as always.
