By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
I sent Ms. Brandewyne an e-mail, asking her about the status of book #3. She said that she would write it eventually, but not anytime soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beyond the Starlit Frost/Passion Moon Rising, June 21, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
I loved this series! I started with the first book when I was 16 and finally found the second four years later at a second-hand bookstore in D.C. The combination of romance and fantasy really worked in this series. I just have one question (like the rest of you)--WHERE IS THE THIRD BOOK? I have been searching for almost TEN YEARS! If anyone out there has any info, please pass it along. If you haven't read the first two, they are well worth reading, even though the third is nowhere in sight!

4.0 out of 5 stars Beyond The Starlit Frost..., July 4, 2005
This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
This is one of my favorite romance genre type books. Beyond The Starlit Frost is very hard to categorize because it can easily be described as sci-fi, fantasy, and alternate history.Don't pay any attention to the horrible publishers weekly review at the top of the page. While it's far from a literary masterpeice it is an excellent romance genre novel that is extremly hard to put down.Taking place in a war-torn future world, Beyond The Starlit Frost tells the story of Rhiannon and Iskander of the planet Tintagel where technology has died and the world is experiencing the rebirth of magic. True love conquers all as the lover's battle the ultimate evil... Rebecca Brandewyne is heavily influenced by tolkein and norse mythology as well as avalon mysticism and any number of other myth cycles that somehow come together to create a truly unique world. Anyone who loved the animated film Wizards will definitly appreciate this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars There has to be a third, March 29, 2000

This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
I, like the rest of you are interested in finding out if there is a third book. I feel like I have lost a friend in not knowing what happens to Iskander and Rhiannon. If anyone knows of another in this series, please e-mail me the title. Both of these books are the kind that you cannot put down, you always want to know what is on the next page. When you reach the end of this one, you still want to know what is on the next page because there is no ending. What is their fate? Were they able to stop the Unkind from spreading any further or in destroying them altogether? The answers can only be found in a third book. If there is not one, please ask Ms. Brandewyne if she is planning another one and to let the readers know. Thank you for these wonderful stories.

By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
Even though Brandewyne is one of my favorite romance authers and this book was really good. I have to give it four stars because it didn't have that much romance in it. But this is a wonderful book and I reccomend that you read it. It just wasn't my favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romance and fantasy merge to create a thriller, May 13, 1998
By
llc2g@virginia.edu (Charlottesville, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
This book is a sequel revolving around the battle against creatures called the Unkind. This book is a unique treasure that should be read by anyone who enjoys reading science fiction and/or fantasy but who is also a romantic by heart. In Beyond the Starlit Frost, the hero and heroine have the Druid gifts of Shapeshifting, which in some lands is feared while revered by others. As they travel through unknown lands to battle the Unkind, they discover how they care for each other. Their love for each other and their freinds ends up saving them in the end.

This review is from: Beyond the Starlit Frost (Paperback)
I so enjoyed this book it was even better than the first in the series and like so many others I am anxious to know when a third will be released. I could not put either book down. I read the first in a few hours and searched for two years before I found Beyond A Starlit Frost and was mesmerized by it as well. I can't wait for the next in the series. Please email me when a third is out.
