Felt Like a Pair of Brown Loafers in a World of Tuxedos?,

This book explains how fitting into this world can be costly and painful. If you have never 'fully adjusted' to the demands of our modern world or have delved into "self-help" and/or therapy and found no durable answers, this book suggests that it is because of our addictive relationships to the world. This is a convincing critique of the folly of our present worldview. This is a clarion call to trusting your own processes on your own journey through life.Caveats: I could have edited this book and made it a much tighter presentation of her points; read the author's "When Society Becomes an Addict" first perhaps - just what in the hell are Lincoln Logs and Holograms? But no matter, she pulls in a lot of exciting material and personal experiences. It's a great ride.
