Not only is Far Beyond This Place one of the best Southern Gospel recordings, it has to be one of Christian Music's best recordings of any format. With the strong writtings of lead singer, Rodney Griffin, and the music provided by the Budapest Pops Orchestra of Budapest, Hungary, this is a must have for any Christian music lover.

My picks would have to be "My name is Lazarus". A song about a conversation that might have taken place outside where Jesus was healing the sick. "He washed my Feet", A beautiful ballad about Christ's humility (even for the one who would betray Him). "Just One More Soul", a song of encouragement for the believer. And "I Believe", a song with special vocalist, the late Glen Payne of the Cathedral Quartet.

Once again, I can't describe how well produced this recording is. You will not be dissapointed.

This has to be one of the Greatest Southern Gospel albums every produced. That is hard to say for a Gold City Man. It is worth every penny and more.

This is my first Greater Vision CD, and I wasn't very sure what to expect. I was very impressed with this group. They are very classy and have a classy style. Of course, the best song on this CD is "My Name Is Lazarus". I don't believe that I have ever heard a fast, toe-tapping song that is fun to listen to that speaks to my heart in the way it does. Get the CD just for this song, it's worth it! My other favorites include the title track, "Just One More Soul", and "I Believe" which features the late, great Glen Payne, and the fabulous "Redemption Draweth Nigh". The latter is wonderfully done, it is not a painful sounding song, either. It is superbly done. This is a quality trio and I hope I can buy more of their CD's.

THIS ALBUM IS FANTASTIC! THE MUSIC THAT THEY WRITE & SING IS ALWAYS HONORING TO THE LORD IN EVERY WAY. IT'S AMAZING HOW GOD HAS USED THEIR MUSIC TO TOUCH OUR LIVES IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS. EACH ALBUM COMES OUT WITH SONGS THAT WILL ENCOURAGE, STRENGTHEN, AND HELP YOU TO WALK CLOSER TO THE LORD, THAN YOU EVER HAVE BEFORE. FAR BEYOND THIS PLACE DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS! THEY ARE TRULY A BLESSING, YOU WON'T FIND A GROUP TODAY THAT IS MORE COMMITTED TO CHRIST THAN GREATER VISION. NO MATTER WHAT THE NEED IN YOUR LIFE MAY BE, THIS MUSIC WILL HELP YOU THROUGH IT.

Although this is the first I have heard of GV, it won't be the last... My Name is Lazarus had me out of my seat and singing praises!

If Greater Vision is not the premier trio in southern gospel music then they should be. "Far Beyond This Place" is filled with substance, class, tight harmony and passion; all of which make Greater Vision a force to be reckoned with in gospel music. If you have never heard Greater Vision before this would be a great place to start.

Without a doubt, My Name Is Lazarus is my favorite song on here. It has such a twist that you don't really see coming until the end and when you catch it, it makes you smile!
Unworthy, But Made Worthy reminded me of where I started before God got ahold of my life and turned me to where I am today.
Any fan of Greater Vision should love this CD and get it.

GREATER VISION HAS HIT THE MARK! "My Name Is Lazarus" is AWESOME! YOU WILL LEAVE YOUR SEAT! They have great harmony & exalt Christ! I also loved "Just One More Soul" & "He Left It All!" Jason is a GREAT singer! Their voices blend beautifully-thank God for talented Christian men who devote their life to sing for Christ! EVERYONE NEEDS THIS PROJECT!

I hope everyone will give this album a chance. It is unbelievable! The songwriting ability of Rodney Griffin is just simply outstanding! The vocals on this project are very clear and distinct. "My Name Is Lazarus" will surely become a number one for this group. Spectacular job Greater Vision!!! Keep up the great work!
