This book is explosive. The fact that it was ever even published is a feat unto itself. This book should be read by anyone who wishes to further their understanding of US in the Middle East. The scholarship of this book is thorough and the facts that are set forth have created a firestorm of debate. I would urge anyone to not only READ this book for themselves but to also seek further information about these topics through their own queries and investigations.

Beyond Tribal Loyalties: Personal Stories of Jewish Peace Activists
Having been brought up in the southern USA as a Christian Zionist, I found these essays helpful, inspirational and heroic. In both Christian and Jewish Zionism there is overwhelming pressure to remain silent in regard to Zionism's ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Too many American Christians, like myself, are beaten down by name-calling by Zionist apologists offended by any criticism of Israel. As a result of this emotional bullying, American Christians do not understand what has happened in the conflict and feel guilty for even trying to find out! As a result, they continue to believe the myth that Israel is an innocent victim of hatred, when in reality, the ongoing Zionist's disrespect for human and property rights of non-Jews is the actual issue. Thanks to all who added their voices to this book, your words are powerful and your courage admirable! The world needs all our voices in the struggle for human rights for everyone!

Same old tired stories in a new wrapper. I'm a Jew, I loved Israel, now I hate it. Israel causes Jews to be persecuted, otherwise we would all be happy and the Jihadists would take up quilting. Of course, the usual anti-Semites love this schlock.

The tone you often get from these people is "I'm more moral than all of the millions of Jews that support Israel" "In fact, I'm so moral, I oppose Israel"
