This album, entitled "Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls (Special Edition)" is better than the original same titled cd. The 6 bonus tracks on this cd, all simply rule. The 6 are titled.1.Crash, Crash. 2.Lets F**k 3.Welcome to the Strange 4.I love to say F**k 5.I take Drugs 6.White Wedding (Billy Idol Cover) They don't actually appear in that order, on the cd, but those are the 6 bonus tracks. The best of the bonus tracks, are "I love to say F**k" "Lets F**k" and "White Wedding." The bonus tracks all in general, "love to say f**k." The "F" word appears on 2 of the bonus track together, a total of probably more than 100 times. The word itself is probably used on the cd itself, 180-200 times in total. Thats alot of F**k, possibly the most i've ever heard on a Metal cd. As per the bonus DVD that comes with it. It's not much, it's just 3 released Music Videos, and a live song. The tracks are as followed. 1.Dead in Hollywood (Music Video) All in which are pretty sweet, but don't measure up the greatness of the 6 bonus tracks the cd itself offers. The price for this pack is good for the bonus tracks themselves, the DVD to me, is like a free gift that comes with them. Both the bonus tracks, and the DVD, are worth the price of this item. So Murderdolls fans, (and or Joey Jordison fans) go out and get this one, IT'S BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL RELEASE!

Not 'true' punk, but good cross blend,

When reading the other reviews for this, I would have expected something as Crass as the Sex Pistols, The Exploited, or FEAR. Not at all... This is possibly a modern day punk.
Nonetheless, whatever you want to classify this into, it doesn't matter. I got from it a mix of Fasterpussycat and LA Guns sounding vocals and lyrical attitude. A mix of that type of music, along with a more modern hard rock/punkish sound. Mix THAT with the lyrical content from Alice Cooper and the only true ORIGINAL Misfits, you have a killer album... Not just for the teens, bot just for 20 somethings, I am in my 30's and love this album. I got this from a 40 something friend of mine... But don't let that stop you, good music doesn't cross boundaries. WARNING: I would not recommend this for my ten year old... yet. If your kids are mature enough to know the difference between true and make believe, and are responsible enough to not try and take some of the content literally, then maybe after screening this you may deem it appropriate. I for one, am going to keep this hidden from my kids for a while after I get back from Iraq. Titles like People Hate ME, Die My Bride, Let's FWord, and I Do Drugs... You figure it out. Everyone else, throw your inhibitions aside, take the rollercoaster ride through the morgue, cemetary and the rest of the dark corners, and have fun with this.

A truly phenonemal debut CD. Joey Jordison proves his talent not only on lead guitar, but as a producer as well. The combination of heavy metal guitar riffs and punk vocals gives this album a life of its own, while still paying homage to the likes of the Misfits, Motley Crue and Hanoi Rocks. Ranging from horror movie themes such as "Love at First Fright," a love song to Linda Blair's character Regan from "The Exorcist" and "Dead in Hollywood," which pays tribute to the monsters that lit up the silver screen, to anti-social ballads like "I Love to Say F***" and "People Hate Me," the Murderdolls have carved out a niche for themselves in the increasingly bland world of rock & roll and are running all the way with it.

Wednesday 13 has pulled off something that nobody else has even attempted or even thought of before. Shock rock, punk and glam. Its like motley crue in 1981 fused with a rob zombie theme and the misfits. Its sounds like it would be a disaster, but when you listen to it, you'll find that while definately maintaing a dark and gothic feel, its got some good humorous lyrics as displayed in the song "I Love To Say FU@K". This album also features intensely catchy chouruses and undeniabley original style. Its awesome. Listen to it.

Punk?,
This review is from: Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls (W/Dvd) (Audio CD)
I don't hear the punk, but I grew up on real punk, so maybe that's why. Anyway, what I do hear is Manson. This is pretty much a bunch of songs equaling Manson's heavier numbers, but with better drums. The songs that aren't like Manson, are more like Guns and Roses or L.A. Guns than punk, but they are still very good. I think it's refreshing to hear some good time music that's just fun to listen to. It's been awhile, if you know what I mean. Good stuff!

Don't get this if you don't like true Punk . . .,

If you don't like Punk, not the Green Day junk, true anti-social punk music that kicks you in the face, don't get this album. If you like music that grates on you, pisses you off, and is generally anti-social get this album. It is a reincarnation of all that is Fing great with punk, grating vocals and thrash. Not for the wanna be crowd.

'Im perfect,pissed off,beautiful im god',
This review is from: Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls (W/Dvd) (Audio CD)
This album is really cool. Its like, heavy(ish) metal meets hair metal meets punk. The vocals may seem a bit like, thin and whiny at the start (not whiny as in simple plan-which is just crying and being a pussy) but whiny as in shreiky-but you'll get used to it and then they should sound pretty cool. But anyway umm,in my opinion almost all the songs on the album rule!Even though quite a lot of them are frankenstein drag queens songs (the lead singer Wednesday13s previous band) the still sound much better.Umm,yeah this is just really cool and a great listen for any metal head.Eh eh ehhhhh.

This is absolutely one of the greatest metal/glam/punk/horror metal albums of all time. They are like a grittier Rob Zombie. Some of the best songs are Love at First Fright (a tribute to the Exorcist), Die my Bride, I Love to Say F***, People Hate Me. Probably their best song is absent from this collection though, it is featured on the soundtrack for Freddy vs Jason. The song is Welcome to the Strange.
If your a fan of Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie and love heavy metal, this is definitly the CD for you, happy listening.

Just thought I'd let you guys know. Anyway, Murderdolls are awesome. Joey is the best drummer out there second to Fear Factory's. I admit, I had to get used to Wednesday's voice but after a few songs I realized it fit in perfectly. He's now one of my favorite vocalist! Also, his lyrics are halarious. Where else can you listen to a song about some guy killing his bride "I'd rather cut you than the wedding cake" "You're bloody guts on my rented tux" "I do, I do, I do want to kill you". and finally, the music is awesome! isnt that really what matters? (Joey did the guitars and the drums on this album)

honestly i listen to every types of rock music and this band is definately my favorite , i never get sick of their songs only songs ill half the time is dead in hollywood and 197666 , everything else is perfect , and to show that im just just some fan of darker or heavy music even tho this is my favorite rock album my other 2 favorite albums are a dropkick murphys album and also a gwar album , but im a fan of queens of the stone age , dan band , practically anything with real talent , and yes i love the juggalo world but thats rap and dosent fit in here , anyway the album is so addicting and the replay value is amazing , i have a ton of albums , rock , metal , etc and this album stands out , its a shame they only have 21 tracks but really i couldn't care less this band is too special , i cant explain with words why this album is great you just have to get it and play it in the car , and play it loud , and feel it , its great man , if i had to really choose 5 tracks to recomment to someone new id choose the 5 that stand out to my the most and that would be " she was a teenage zombie " , " die my bride " , " kill miss america " , " lets f**c " , " white wedding " i love pretty much every track equally tho with the exception of dead in holliwood and 197666 but thats just me , give it a try ppl if your a fan of horror or metal , and dont mind a little touch of punk . terrific !!!
