5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful album, even better live show., September 8, 2006

I picked the album up from Vaux's merch tent during this year's Warped Tour (on the day it came out, no less). Popped it in the CD player on the way home and was blown away.

There's a reason Revolver gave this a 5/5, and so did I. A definite must buy.

A great album from a bunch of great guys. Enjoy!

A Kid's Review
Why is nobody reviewing this cd? Vaux is a great band and this is another great addition to the vaux tradition. I like every song on this cd, there's no filler.

A word of warning though...More than half of these songs would be considered "slow" for fans of vaux's older stuff. That doesn't mean that you won't like it if you like the old vaux though, i've been a fan of theirs for a long time, and I love this cd. It seems to grow on you, and the music is really, really good.

5.0 out of 5 stars How do they do it!, December 4, 2005
This review is from: Beyond Virtue Beyond Vice (Audio CD)
I wasnt sure iw as going to buy this record. then i eahrd about their fiasco with atlantic/lava and then i thought i would never buy it. luckily for me, i found a promo copy for 1.00$ and what a purchase! this cd is tied for my favorite of 2005. the cd starts off with the fiery post-hardcore anthem of identity theft (id rather steal than pay the bill, id rather lie) and then the next two tracks, are you with me and cocaine james hit you just as hard. then most of the rest of the songs are different from vaux's hard rock type sound. they go softer but its just phenomenal.van fong is one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard. buy this album.

best songs= identity theft, cocaine james, van fong
